Lovely apartment - ski in ski out location

Loved our stay at Aspens.. we’ve stayed twice now. The apartment had everything we needed. Sofa bed was Queen size and very comfortable. The apartment gets the afternoon sun and has nice views over the pool.

The unit was very nice, clean and exactly as advertized. My communication with Blackcomb peaks beforehand was excellent. Check in and parking was very easy and explained well. The building had a problem with the hot water for 24 hours which was difficult for us as we were using that 2 days as a rest and regroup (laundry, showering, cleaning dishes) btn two camping trips. I did get in a shower before the problem started, but my kids did not and the dishes were understandably not cleaned by the dishwasher as there was no hot water. Blackcomb peaks did send a text after we'd checked out to say the hot water was back on, but it would have been helpful to receive a text right when the problem started so we knew it was not just our unit and that they were aware of the problem and working to fix it. I hand washed as many of our dishes as I could and left Blackcomb peaks a message to let them know we were having trouble. Maybe a small percentage refund as it was quite an inconvenience during a vacation.

Pre-Christmas in Whistler

This is a beautiful property that has a great ski in, ski out location. The room overlooks the pool area and it is fun to see the skiers come down. We had a wonderful time even though the snow was very limited. It would be even better if an additional TV was in the main bedroom so that if someone is going to sleep in the sofa-bed they can have the bed pulled out and watch what they want to and the other occupants can watch their show. Also a DVD player would be nice so that you bring movies to watch. All over though it was a wonderful room.

Great location!!

This is our second time staying at the Aspens and we will definitely return. The location is so fabulous with ski in/out and proximity to the village walk... you are just a few minutes to everything whistler has to offer!! A couple of things to keep in mind... the clearance in the garage is too low for a SUV with a skybox. The solution is to take the sky box off and store in the bike storage before parking your verhicle. Secondly, the WiFi in our unit was quite poor.I did not report it as I didn’t mind being “disconnected” others might be put off by that. Otherwise, Aspens 302 is a fabulous unit at a great value in what I consider to be the perfect location in all of whistler.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this place! Very clean!! Such a nice wonderful stay we had! Had all that we needed (except maybe a more firm mattress next time ;) ) Appliances were so clean, we were thinking they were brand new! Grill was a wonderful bonus... and that it was facing the pool. Short easy walk to the Blackcomb Village and Whistler Village. Super convenient location!! Love love love it!! We hope to be back ... and hopefully this unit will be available again :) PS: We got lucky and was able to park along the street super close to the entrance into the lobby--so we saved on the parking garage cost. Thank you for this clean and well-maintained unit! We love Whistler!
