My work gave me an opportunity to travel vastly both overseas and in Africa, I formed part of delegations that visited Canada (Saskatchewan), Germany (Hamburg) and Serbia (Novi Sad). In Africa, I toured Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini, Lesotho, Egypt and Mozambique. My visits to all these countries and most South African towns made me to fall in love with the hospitality industry especially the tourism. I then took a decision that the day I retire from government, I was going to invest my time and energy in hosting tourists and guests in my own property.
