Experience the classic New England charm of the Seven Lakes Inn, a historic 1843 lodge nestled on Long Pond in the Belgrade Lakes Region. Thoughtfully renovated and furnished in 2025 while preserving notable original features of the home!
Enjoy lazy lakeside days with private lake access and proximity to local retail and dining options or play the nationally acclaimed Belgrade Lakes Golf Club (less than a mile from the Inn) and hike the Kennebec Highland trails. At the end of the day, drink in the sunset from our elevated wraparound porch. Relax and enjoy the loons calling!
Here you will find a thoughtfully stocked kitchen with GreenPan products, Crate & Barrel dishes and cutlery, plenty of glassware, serving pieces and bakeware, and commonly use oils and seasonings.
Private Chef Services can be arranged from one of our affiliated local chefs.
If you'd rather go out, walk down Main Street to Day's Store to stock up on groceries, including wine and spirits, and their famous donuts in the morning. Along the red brick sidewalks from the "spillway" to the Village Green you will find locally owned shops and galleries offering gifts, art, fresh flowers, fine wines and cheeses, baked goods and gourmet items. Visit Remedy spa for a manicure or blow dry!
There are a variety of restaurants and cafes in the Village within a short walk including the 1958 Cafe, The Village Inn, The Cork & Cow, Hello Good Pie, Sunset Grill, and a short drive to Sadie's and the cafe at Belgrade Golf Club (the views!). Within a 20 minute drive you will find great restaurants in Hallowell, Waterville, and Farmington. If you are looking for large grocery stores, Hannaford, Shaws and Walmart are located in Augusta just 20 minutes away.
If you'd like to see more of Maine, Belgrade Village is a great "home base" from which to explore. Day trips to Camden, Freedom (home of The Lost Kitchen), Brunswick, Boothbay Harbor, Freeport, Rockport, and more are just a one hour drive away.
When the sun is shining, enjoy relaxing by the lake under the shade of the apple tree. Swim or paddle (using provided kayaks and stand up paddle boards) off the private dock with steps into the water. Hike the many nearby trails in the beautifully designed and maintained Kennebec Highlands.
If the clouds gather, watch the storm come in from the sun porch, the reading nook or puzzle table on the second floor. Wait for the sun to come out while enjoying a round of Monopoly, RummiKub or one of the other games around our large Dining Room table.
Don't forget to check for blueberries along the shoreline! Pick and enjoy!
