This property has my heart. So peaceful and relaxing and the animals are amazing. There is a bus stop right outside. Ample parking if you rent a car. The pool and grounds are relaxing. There are a couple good restaurants in walking distance. Mimi’s was our favorite place. The batidas were delicious, but their Casado de pollo blew everywhere else out of the water. The hotel Mono Azul across the street has good food as well. Watch the Titi monkeys are everywhere in the afternoon you can sit inside and watch them or venture to the balcony but be careful if you hang out a lot they start to get curious as to how friendly you are. Heard the howler monkeys a few times and caught a peak at one across the street above the other hotel about 3 times. He likes the mango tree over there. Iguanas and lizards as well. In the morning and evening he sure to look out the back window up in the old tree branches for the Scarlett macaws. They also like the tall palm trees on the property in the afternoons. I enjoyed every single day watching the animals outside the room. The room itself is beautiful and has ample dishes and utensils. We went to the local grocery stores a few times. I hands down would recommend this location to anyone.
