We enjoyed 2 months at this condo. Owner and staff very helpful. Communication was not an issue. Short walk to restaurants and convience stores. Pool was very quiet and relaxing! Access to Grand Mayan was a great added bonus. We would rent condo again and would recommend it to others!

Winter Get Away

We rented the condo for a month and really enjoyed our time there. The unit was spotless and can't say enough about the concierge who provided outstanding services. Alessandra was very helpful and quick to respond to our emails. The condo is in a great location with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. My husband is an avid golfer so that was a positive thing. The grounds and pool are outstanding and so very well maintained.

Fabulous stay and great hosts

Beautiful, clean property with a fabulous view. Wonderful to wake up each morning and have our cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the palm trees and golf course. Great to have access to all the Vidanta amenities (gym, pools, lazy river, beach, long walks) but we found that the amazing pool at Balacon was where we spent most of our time. We had the pleasure of meeting our hosts who were always responsive and helpful... giving us restaurant recommendations and ideas for things to do. Wonderful stay!

Quiet, convenient with a great pool.

The property was safe, well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The owners were super responsive and really cared that we had what we needed. It is quick and easy to get to all of the Grand Mayan amenities yet return to a quieter less busy place to relax and enjoy. The pool was spectacular and well maintained. It takes a couple of days to figure out your way around the enormous Grand Mayan property, but once you do, it is very easy to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly consider it again.

Refreshing Updated Condo

This Condominium is very nice and an updated option for anyone who is looking for the Vidanta experience. A spacious two bedroom with a nice view of the golf course. Alessandra is very helpful and responsive! She helped make sure my visit was enjoyable.

The property itself was amazing! Clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. The swimming pool was HUGE and quiet! There was an inconvenience with transportation in and out of Vidanta. Uber was able to take us in for about 150 pesos, but only Vidanta Taxi can take us back to the condo for about 170 pesos. We paid one time small fee for bracelets inside of Vidanta for our whole stay. Overall, we had a nice experience!

A wonderfully comfortable stay onsite near the resort entry with access to Vidanta. 24/7 staff and security inside a gated community, the attentive staff are always smiling and helpful as they provide rides to and from the resort via golf cart, dropping you off at the foot of Vidanta for you to continue on with your adventure. The pools at Balancan are sparkling clean and the house itself is immaculate. Amenities at Vidanta are endless and proximity to the beach, pool, golf and amusements are a reason why we’d come back to this location each time we visit. Great Experience.

Five stars!

Where to start? First, the condo was exactly as advertised, clean spacious, and quiet. It sits right on the golf course so you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery. What we didn't know from the description is that the whole Vidanta complex is huge! The host provided us with bracelets for the Grand Mayan hotel which is just one of 12 hotels in Vidanta. Crazy! You will get driven in golf carts from the beach and back, which is super fun and of course eco-friendly. Have to say it took us a day or two to figure out where to go and how to transfer, but once we have, it actually didn't take us more than 10 minutes to the beach. It's also easy to go on foot, once you figure out the shortcut across the golf course (15 min). Quite a beautiful walk too. The Balaclan building has really nice pools if you need more space and are not too crazy about the crowds. I do have to say that Grand Mayan has amazing pools, a lazy river, a water slide, little kids' aqua park. It definitely helps if the waves are too big as was the case in February. The staff at Balaclan and Vidanta, in general, is wonderful. We haven't had a bad interaction. Now for the bad, Vidanta restaurants prices are comparable to US - we've mostly eaten ant Olla Mulata, snack bar, and the burrito was $15 US. Vidanta charges $10 for internet for the length of the stay. We've heard multiple people complain about it. So you won't be saving money here. Aside from being relatively expensive, Vidanta is a great choice for those that are looking for a beautiful beach stay. Make sure to check out La Plaza - we found the most amazing crepes there. Also, Uber will come to Balaclan, but we've had several drivers getting lost while trying to find it. It takes about 40 min to get to Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta. Maizul is a great restaurant nearby, and Portobello is a legitimate pizzeria also very close to Balaclan. Should add, there are only basic toiletries provided, so you will need to make sure you bring/buy what you need. Oxxo for small quick purchases, Costco or Soriana if you're planning to cook. All in all, we had a great time in Alesasndra's condo and the whole stay has exceeded our expectations.

The property was very clean, beautiful location, much better than renting a hotel and would be an easy decision to stay there again. I forgot our bag in the taxi one day and because the property takes info from the driver's going and coming in our host went above and beyond to make sure we got it back.
