This property was exactly what I hoped it would be -- spacious, beautifully furnished and perfectly sited. We were in the Hudson Valley visiting friends and family and enjoyed hosting a dinner outside in a gorgeous backyard that was ringed by woodland. The process from securing the rental to checking out was seamless and easy. The owner was friendly and open to feedback. All in all, a lovely weekend.

Gorgeous and also somehow kid friendly

My husband and I had to attend a wedding in Garrison and couldn’t find childcare so we booked Nick’s place for us, a three year old, an 18 mo old and a nanny. It worked out perfectly because we brought a travel crib and air mattress for the kids and had one room for them, one for us and one for the nanny. The house itself is stylish, warm, aesthetically pleasing as you would expect a tastefully furnished Hudson Valley home to be, but also minimalist enough to be somewhat child proof. It has a huge yard with a cozy patio that butts up into a wooded area which is peaceful and offers lots of exploration opportunities. You are a mere 18 minutes from Beacon where you can find tons to do etc. There is both a modern shower and a clawfoot tub depending on your preference, window units to keep the bedrooms cool and comfy beds with upscale linens. We all slept well and enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the am. Nick was responsive and attentive to all our questions.
