Lovely home with a relaxing view of the lake! The host was incredibly responsive to any concerns we raised and addressed them quickly. The bedrooms and other rooms are very comfortable, but new window shades would be very helpful, since the current bedroom blinds do not prevent the morning sun from coming in. Easy parking and great location.
The house was in a great location for us. Centrally located for our needs. Every message I sent to John was answered promptly. I’m not a huge fan of sharing a bathroom with another couple so I feel the house would have been excellent for the two of us. I’d stay there again
While a little tight for a large group, but for 8 or less this would be a great place. Quiet lakeside community in close proximity to stores and restaurants.
Overall good property. Convenient location. Challenges were the lack of yard & parking & a not so nice neighbor. Benefits were a very nice neighbor next door & the garage space for gathering.

Disliked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
In route to the property I was advised of a Domestic Violence situation prior to arriving the night before which resulted in the garage being broken and my dad standing on a ladder to fix it. There were underwear under the beds and the pull out mattress was extremely dusty and dirty with underwear children’s underneath it as well.
Easy arrival, reasonable kitchen accomodations, very clean, good washer/dryer, nice towels, not our favorite pillows. No real issues, but potential renters should be aware that the layout of the property is unusual and limits privacy. The two large bedrooms are connected by a closet that is covered only by a curtain on one side and sliding door on the other. The small bedroom appears to have originally been a back porch that has been enclosed - it connects to the livingroom via a sliding glass door that has only sliding blinds for privacy. It also connects to the second bedroom via a window. The half bath is in the garage and connected to the original livingroom by a window covered with wooden shutters. You can see through these shutters into the livingroom from the bathroom. The larger tv room is a converted garage space, as shown in owners photos.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for pointing out so many positives — from the easy arrival and cleanliness to the waterfront location, amenities, and comfortable linens. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the home to be a great place to spend time.
Our home does have a unique and open layout, as shown clearly in our photos and described in the listing. While you felt this limited privacy, most guests find it adds to the home’s charm and makes it ideal for spending time together at the lake. The converted and connected spaces you mentioned are common in waterfront homes and allow for larger gathering areas and extra sleeping space without sacrificing comfort.
We’re thrilled you were able to enjoy the direct lake access, scenic views, and relaxing atmosphere — the same features so many of our guests have loved. We look forward to welcoming future visitors who can appreciate both the home’s character and its unbeatable location.
