The Ambassador near Dupont Circle

My family spent 5 wonderful days at the Ambassador. We came into DC from around the country to attend a the burial of a family member at Arlington and needed a large place with five separate bedrooms. The Ambassador was a perfect choice. It’s an enormous, absolutely beautiful home on a quiet street not far (9 minutes walk) from the Dupont Circle Metro station. The home is exactly as described: stately, 5 quiet bedrooms, six fully furnished bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen with all necessary cooking needs, and complete laundry. There are plenty of comfortable areas for visiting, including a separate media room and an outdoor patio area. There is off-street parking for two cars in front of the house, and additional parking available on the street if requested.Brian, our host, was extremely helpful, accommodating, and always available. The visit exceeded our expectations. We could not have been more pleased. We would definitely stay there again.

We have a toddler (born July 2021) and an infant (born March 2025) and the four of us love living in Washington DC and sharing this magical city with our guests! We have always felt that the best way to experience Washington DC is from one of it’s historic homes!
