Just 1h30 from Montreal, on the shores of stunning Lake Ouareau, this prestigious chalet sits on the border of St-Donat in the beautiful Lanaudière region. Only minutes away, the charming village of St-Donat offers grocery stores, bakeries, cafés, restaurants, microbreweries, and local boutiques.

Outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted: La Réserve ski resort (6 km) and Mont-Garceau are close by for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. In summer, the lake and private beach invite swimming, water sports, and sunbathing. Hiking and biking trails abound in the nearby Mont-Tremblant National Park and surrounding forests.

Unfortunately, the chalet is not fully wheelchair accessible. However, for guests with mobility limitations, after climbing the 6 steps at the entrance, the main floor is entirely accessible and includes a bedroom, a bathroom, as well as the open-concept kitchen, living room, and dining area.

The open-concept main floor features a modern kitchen, a dining area with lake views, a cathedral-ceiling living room with a slow-burning fireplace, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a beautiful 4-season veranda.

In summer, a spacious, fully furnished terrace extends the chalet, offering breathtaking lake views. One of the five bedrooms is on the garden level, adjacent to a family room with a pool table and foosball. The outdoor spa is accessible year-round.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, including the master suite with a king bed, sitting area, full bathroom, and stunning lake views. The fifth bedroom on the garden level is connected to the playroom and features a half bath.

St-Donat is a year-round playground for outdoor enthusiasts: snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, mountain biking, swimming, golf, and adventure courses for kids.

This Scandinavian-style chalet combines charm and serenity and includes electricity, internet, firewood, spa maintenance, snow removal, and all the amenities and equipment listed.

For personal watercraft use, a lake access permit is required and the boat must be cleaned before and after use. The dock shown in the photos can be used for mooring, while launching must be done from municipal boat ramps.

Full bedding and shower towels are provided. Guests should bring their own spa and beach towels.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an espresso machine, coffee grinder, food processor, two fondue sets (gas and electric), and all standard kitchen accessories. Basic supplies such as sugar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee filters, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and vegetable oil are also provided.

Multimedia & Comfort:
-TVs: 50’’ HD in the living room, 36’’ in the master bedroom, 42’’ in the kids’ bedroom
-Portable Bluetooth speaker, unlimited Wi-Fi
-Washer/dryer, dishwasher
-Propane BBQ (not guaranteed in winter)

It is essential to have a vehicle to get around.

Parking:

-In summer, or when there is no snow, please avoid parking in a way that blocks your neighbor’s access. Marks have been made to guide you.

-If the three available spaces are not enough, you may park on the right side of the street just before reaching the chalet.

-In winter, you may use the entire parking area, as the access path is not cleared of snow.

Long-Term Stays (32+ Nights) ONLY:
-Capacity: Up to 11 guests, with no extra fees as long as the maximum is not exceeded.
-Taxes: No provincial, federal, or lodging taxes.
-Spa: Accessible year-round. Please keep the floater full of chlorine tablets and add chlorination powder after each use.
-BBQ: Available on the terrace. Guests are responsible for snow removal and cleaning it during their stay (gas connected).
-Fire Pit: Summer only.
-Pets: Up to 2 dogs welcome ($75 + taxes each), must stay on the ground floor. Safety gates provided. Please respect furniture and clean up after pets. Cats are not permitted.
-Supplies: Bring your own body/hair soap and coffee - Soap for cleaning, dishwashing, and hands provided; coffee makers, filters, and grinder included.
-Check-in / Check-out: Check-in from 5 PM, check-out by noon. Saturday arrivals/departures require prior approval.
-Utilities: $125/month electricity + $125/month propane included; any overage billed pro-rata with invoices.
-Cameras: Outdoor only, facing the entrance. Recordings stored up to 90 days.
-Pre-Registration: Required with ID to prevent fraud; gives access to the virtual Chalet Guide.
-Security Deposit of $1000: Pre-authorization on card at check-in, released after inspection.
-Included Amenities: Internet, parking snow removal, firewood, and all items listed in the Chalet Guide.
-Guest Responsibilities: Manual snow clearing for balconies, stairs, entrance, spa path, and propane path. Parking lot snow removal is provided by the owner.
