About the host
Hosted by Otha Greer/Bia Thompson
I grew up in Los Angeles and lived in Oakland, Ca 12 years prior to moving to Atlanta. My passions are art and travel - have traveled to 6 continents including over 20 trips and countries in Africa and all of Latin America sans El Salvador, collecting art along the way. Cuba is one of my favorite countries to visit because of its diverse culture which includes art and music. I am a founding Principal in The Real Estate Company and actively involved in the selling and listing of In town real estate. I have one son, Bia, a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser, who co-hosts with me and lives in upstairs separate apartment.
Why they chose this property
A lovely, spacious alternative to a hotel when you need more room and wish to spread out. This 2,000 s.f. apartment provides you all the comforts of home. I purchased this property because of its location, the wonderful neighbors and sought after schools. It also provides you with a huge outdoor space of a screened in patio which can be used 9 months out of the year.
What makes this property unique
A very walkable/joggable neighborhood - 1 mile to Emory Hospital/University/CDC, and a lovely 1 mile walk to Downtown Decatur with shops and restaurants, and yet so close to Midtown and Downtown Atlanta.
