Originally built in 1958 as a local grocery store, this property served the community until the late 1980s. After sitting abandoned for decades, it was renovated in 2021 into a Dolly Parton-themed Western retreat with lots of rustic charm!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the shower was relaxing, the kitchen was well stocked, and the horses out back were friendly. It's out of the city so you don't have to be in the middle of that chaos but not a bad drive in to enjoy what Nashville has to offer.

This property was so cute, I loved the photos of the before and after of what the property used to look like. It was very relaxing walking out and enjoying coffee with the horses and cows! Jonah was very responsive when it came to communication. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was absolutely stunning!

A hidden gem! I will stay here again. The place is very clean and set up with everything you need. Loved the decor, pictures dont do it justice. Way better in person. The main frontage road noise is very minimal because of light traffic and the bedrooms are in the back. Easy to find and only 28 minutes to the airport. The host is quick to respond and very polite. I wish I would have booked more than one night there. Now I know.

We really liked the property and it was in a nice location that was close to everything. My reason for lowering the stars are as follows. 1)There was a definite need for a deep cleaning. Nothing gross just dust that has been there for a while. 2)The bedrooms are very dark and the lamps have a small wattage bulb. There is a pole light in each bedroom that you have to unplug to turn off. 3)There were no hand towels or a hair dryer in the bathroom. Nothing major, but not up to most Vrbo sites.

Thank you for your feedback! I did want to clarify a couple of things for future guests. There is actually a hair dryer provided in the bathroom, so unfortunately it must have just been overlooked during your stay. The tall lamps in each bedroom are there to provide additional lighting and have a foot-operated button on the cord that allows them to be easily turned on and off without unplugging them. I’m unsure specifically where the dust mentioned was located, as I personally clean and dust the property between every guest, including the ceiling fans, shelving, and underneath the beds. That said, I certainly could have missed a spot, and I apologize if that was the case. I do appreciate you mentioning the hand towels, and I’ll make sure those are provided for future guests. This place is so cute! We stayed to visit family for Christmas and it was fully decorated in Christmas spirit. Very clean and easy check in and check out. Will definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Perfect little getaway! Had a little difficulty with the passcode but they were so nice to help us and responded quickly. Such a beautiful little place. Turn left out of the drive and two minutes down the road is a Love’s truck stop and easy access to highway to Lebanon and other areas. Great little spot, close to the road so you will hear traffic at times but nothing crazy. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area!
