About the host
Hosted by Wilmer Lopez

We are a family of five but for now our eldest is stationed in Okinawa, Japan. We are also pet parents, but don’t worry you’ll have your own slice of the house.
We like to travel just like you. Where have we not been? Well, to the moon and back. But we also enjoy being home, no matter where we are.
Like most people in this town, we’re from somewhere else but this is our city. Personally, I’ve lived in Miami over 40 years and it’s the only town I know. And what a town. You can really do anything here. And the word is out, so enjoy.

Why they chose this property
We have lived in El Portal for nearly 30 years. A quiet neighborhood with wonderful trees so you can enjoy a nice walk or run, morning or afternoon. One of the few preserved green neighborhoods in the county. It’s a small town in a big city. Although it is less than a square mile, El Portal has its own city council and police department, so our safety and well-being is top of mind.
There are great places to eat nearby. Eat rooftop at The Citadel or enjoy other local restaurants.
A quick drive to your choice of supermarkets or grocery stores, and plenty of nearby gas stations.

What makes this property unique
We are conveniently at El Portal, the gateway to Miami. A short drive to Midtown, the design district, and Wynwood. Across the intercostal to Miami Beach. Easy access to I-95 so you can get to buzzing downtown, Calle 8, shopping in Aventura or the Florida keys. A quick drive or uber to Miami airport or head north to Fort Lauderdale airport or the beaches.
If you like nature, just check out the scenery on the river, maybe you’ll catch a group of manatees or flocks of birds heading home in the evenings.
