'Stay Relaxed' in our Family Friendly Ski in/Ski out, Lofted Condo
Welcome to our home in Whistler, we call it MoonPeak and our motto is 'Stay Relaxed'. We invite you to stay and enjoy a great ski hiking/biking vacation or simply relax and enjoy all that beautiful Whistler has to offer. We believe you should be able to have a place that is family oriented but still luxurious. Our family home features a king size master bed in main loft, bunk-bed in second loft, fold out double couch in main area. Both Lofts are upstairs with separate sleeping areas, with the high ceilings, VRBO only allows me to describe them as bedrooms in the header, but they are two separate lofts . The open concept living area has a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi, 2 new HDTVs ,Blu-ray and sound system, 2 full bathrooms, in-suite washer and dryer, heated slate floors in kitchen and both bathrooms, Electric fire place. The deck overlooks the pool, hot tub and sauna area where you and your family can relax after your day in the mountains. Free underground parking for easy indoor unpacking. NEW! our condo has just installed 4 EV chargers in the underground parkade. I dont own a EV but I note that it is a FLO charger.
Lake Placid Lodge is a situated at the base of the Creekside ski gondola. Walk out the front door, cross the street, up a few stairs and you are at the lift! Whistler Guest Services are right at the lift to purchase your ski passes. A walking zone takes you to a great grocery store, liquor store, and ski shop and ski tune up service.
Creekside is the first ski access area as you drive to the Whistler mountain and is a wonderful place to bring your family to enjoy the mountain (Ski school is right at the base of Creekside).

The unit is in an ideal location. Cross the street, up the steps and cross a short walkway and you are boarding the gondola. It’s a short walk to grocery and a few other shops.The unit is well maintained with a fully equipped kitchen and modern euro-styled appliances. Icons on the range appeared to be inspired by The Fifth Element and required a quick internet search to decode. The heated floor in the kitchen was nice on the toes in the morning.Note the floor plan is fairly open with loft style bedrooms. Neither has a door and one has an opening overlooking the floor below. Not an issue for us, but may be for those who like it quiet or to be noisy in private at night.Scott was an excellent host who provided clear advance communication and was very responsive to any inquiry we had.
We really enjoyed our days in Whistler. The property was well cared for and the communication with the property manager was excellent. Would definitely return.
The cozy loft space was perfect for my Mom and I to come home to after a day of skiing. Location is perfect for Creekside Gondola. The beds and pillows were super comfy and we both slept really well. The host was amazing and checked in and made sure that we had everything we needed and was super responsive.
Our family of 4 had a great time in this property last week and weekend... such a great location and the hosts were hands down the best VRBO hosts we've ever experienced. Super accommodating and great communication!
Great property! Great location! Makes skiing vacation super easy. Ski locker, hot tub, great kitchen, and walking distance to market, ski shop, beer store, various restaurants, and Creekside gondola are all things that make this such a great VRBO
Very clean and well organized. Great communication with owner. My kids loved the pool. Not overly sound proof within the house as there are no door on the bedrooms (loft style) but very quiet from outside noise. Would definitely stay here again!
Steps to creekside Gondola, spacious 2 bedroom with a stocked kitchen made eating in easy. Scott was an excellent host. Exactly what we were hoping for!

This condo was perfect for our family. Very well equipped. Scott was very helpful and responsive with everything. Great experience all the way through.
Scott was a great host. He made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. He made our stay very easy.
The condo was perfect for four adults who were focused on skiing. The mountain is steps away, hot tub helps after a long day, and the condo was spotless with all the necessary amenities.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property. Having such a great place to call home during our holiday helped make our trip so brilliant. It has everything (and more) that you could wish for during a stay away. The robes and pool towels were a nice touch. The pool and hot tub were so nice to relax in and enjoy after a day on the slopes. We’re already thinking of booking again for next year. All communication has been excellent - thanks Scott for a great stay!

AWESOME! Everything that we could have needed was there and in great condition. Very cozy and warm. We were a family of 4 and had lots of space and were very comfortable. We will be back for sure. Excellent location - literally right across the street from the Creekside lifts.

Great location!!
Great location, well kept place, great owners. My only objective complaint is the lack of privacy in that the master, guest bedroom, and great room-they are all under one roof with communicating openings so there is NO privacy between rooms, kitchen, living space, etc. almost like one studio partitioned with partial walls. Please note I have 3 children Great stay otherwise.
Stayed a week in Scott’s place. Ideal for myself and a buddy. Scott was outstanding in every way. Should give you confidence. Location just across the street from Creekside lift. Grocery, cafes, ski rentals, etc just across another street. All easy locations for whatever you need.

Great Ski Trip
Perfect location right across from Creekside gondola. Walk to great grocery store across the street. Condo satisfied the whole family - well stocked kitchen, huge selection of movies, heated pool and hot tub a short walk away. My kids loved the bunk beds and their little room worked out perfectly. The owners were fantastic to deal with throughout the booking process and our stay. We had a little glitch upon check in, but they dealt with it immediately and even bought our family dinner for our trouble! I would rent this condo again. Perfect mountain access away from the crowds in Whistler Village.
Fantastic location and a quieter alternative to staying in Whistler Village. Property located across the street from Creekside Gondola. Secure keypad access at all doors, included locks for skis, and covered parking. Grocery store, coffee shop, rentals, and various smaller shops located across the street as well. It is a lofted unit which means that neither rooms have doors and if you have smaller children sensitive to lights while sleeping, any downstairs lights will shine into the bunked room. All that said, I would not hesitate to recommend families rent out this unit for their Whistler visits. Pool and hot tub access. The ski locker area at the main entrance was so convenient and saved us from having to lug our gear around farther than needed. Scott (owner) was incredibly responsive and checked in via email ahead of the stay and at the end.
Very pleasant stay at Scott's condo in Creekside. Scott was very welcoming and responsive and stayed in touch with us during our extensive stay in Whistler. Location is superb if you are there for skiing, just steps from Creekside gondola. Apartment was as advertised, well equipped with amenities and supplies. The only little drawback for us was that owners were having a lot of personal items in the apartment. That is not necessarily issue with usual 1 week rental, but if you are there for extensive period of time it requires some rearrangement of the furniture and personal belongings. But this is far from being an issue. Everything considered, we enjoyed our 3 weeks of 'working vacation'.

Welcome to our home in Whistler, we call it “MoonPeak”. We are brand new owners of Lake Placid Unit #330 – just purchasing it December 2012. We live in Delta, BC about 2 hours south of Whistler with our son and daughter. It is an absolute dream for us to have a vacation getaway in Whistler.
We have stayed in many vacation rentals around the world and would like to make sure ours is well equipped, comfortable and contributes to a wonderful getaway for our guests. Our motto when we come to Whistler is “Stay Relaxed” and we hope you have a wonderful stay here in Lake Placid Lodge.
Why they chose this property
We had vacationed in Lake Placid Lodge 3 time prior to purchasing our own unit. We love the ability to wake up, get ready, grab our skis from the lockup right at the front door of the lodge, then simply walk across the street to the lift at Creekside. At the end of the day, ski down, lock your skis back up, grab a beverage and head to the hot tub to relax.
We love to cook and enjoy the open kitchen area, which allows us to entertain in style or simply relax and read a book, listen to music on the new stereo or watch a movie on the new HDTV.
We are a family of 4 and our children love swimming in the pool and then lounging in the condo playing games, connecting with friends via wifi, or watching a great movie.
What makes this property unique
We love that we are on the third floor and that the unit is at the end of the hall facing the pool area. This keeps the unit quiet with very little hall traffic. a stairwell is right out side your door that takes you to the pool area directly or you can take the elevator just down the hall.
