The property is in disrepair and has a mold problem. The roof leaks and I was rained on IN MY BED. The staff acted surprised, but it is not a new problem, as we could see water stains on the beams and down the walls. The mold smell is unbearable, especially in the bathroom. It’s a breeding ground for mosquitoes, even with the doors and windows closed to the bedroom they were always in there, and there are no mosquito nets for the beds because they don’t have posts to attach to. The private pool in the villa has such a loud drain that we had to cut the power off at the electrical panel so we could sleep. The design of the villa is not practical, as there is no table to eat at and the kitchen is very tiny. If you only eat at restaurants this won’t be a problem. My toilet seat was broken and the handle on my sink came off. The whole place needs to be shut down and renovated completely. The staff was very friendly, but they are just trying their hardest to cover up all the problems and appease guests. We didn’t see any other guests while we were there, which should have been a warning sign.
