The villa has just been updated and newly furnished. In three bedrooms and with two big sofa beds it easily sleeps ten. The house offers about 2100 square feet of living space. The garden is approximately 10000 square feet and offers LOTS of space for entertaining! You won't find anything else with that much outdoor space in SE Florida! The property is fenced, but you have access to the private dock. However, children cannot open the gate to the dock. Among the palm trees and the tropical banyan tree there is plenty of natural shade and lots of sun as well. Enjoy lying on the chaise lounge and watch the ships sailing by in the canal. Or have fun with the new active 3D-TV! Or just relax in the screedend patio, watching the garden and pool or TV.

You can have your own jet ski or boat docked to the property's private dock for your personal use! Boating to the ocean is just a few minutes with no restrictions like fixed bridges. There is shore power and freshwater at the dock.

The beach is very close as well as all the shops, restaurants, cinema, tennis, golf and horseback riding. The villa is an ideal holiday destination all year round.

Grocery stores, bakery, all kind of shops like shoe shop or diving shop are just minutes away. You can walk even to Starbuck's!

We had a great time!

What a wonderful place!! Backyard is to die for - plenty of room. If you have late nighters, there's a table near the house, and a table farther away by the pool and canal, so sleepers inside won't be bothered if people like to stay outside (which we definitely did!!). Pool toys and rafts also provided. If you love Florida and come to be "outside", this is the place. It's beautiful!

Wonderful house for relaxing and enjoying south Florida

The house was exactly as described and pictured. Easy access to everything you would want, either by walking or driving - groceries, restaurants, movie theater, etc are all within a 5-10 minute drive. There's a large enclosed room and lots of shade outback that are wonderful places to relax. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owner is very responsive in answering questions before your arrival. Love the digital door lock making looking for a misplaced or 'lost' key unnecessary. You'll not be disappointed if you choose this house.

Great Location

Nice appearance driving in. Circle driveway, Palm trees in front yard. We stayed 9 nights during Christmas season.The backyard was nice with pool, tiki bar/grill etc. Screened back porch with plenty of seating. Best of all is the canal at back. We could sit near gate and watch boats of all types going into and out of the ocean. Beach was only 1 1/2 mile away. Many restaurants nearby The house itself is showing a need for refreshing and there is only a small table top dryer operating off 110 volt electricity. Would only dry 3-4 items efficiently but there was a clothesline in backyard. Communications with manager etc was excellent. We'd go back.

Magnificent and luxurious villa

I have been to Florida many times over the past 10 years. I have to say that this place was the best out of all the places my family and I have stayed. We have done the high rise hotels and low rise hotels and we tried the all inclusive hotels too and a lot of other vacation rentals as well. Claude's beautiful villa is in a lovely peaceful neighborhood away from all the crowds. The villa is pristine with all the comforts of home. The pool is crystal clear, and in a tropical setting with palm trees and a beautiful Banyan tree. You're just minutes from the beautiful beaches and the restaurants. It was great that Claude provided beach chairs and a cooler. If you're looking for a relaxing peaceful get away this is the place to stay! My kids loved the pool after a long day at the beach or exploring the area. Claude also gives you a list of some great places to go and see. Can't wait to plan our next trip!!

Fishing w own captain, wonderful house and garden, nice team - home away from home at its very best!

We stayed at this place for 7 nights. It was very clean and the views of nice boats passing by were gorgeous. The A/C, cable and WIFI worked great. We rented bikes, but didn’t use them. It is much easier to just walk or drive everywhere. The sunsets are amazing and we got some great pictures at the private dock. Sitting out in the backyard was so relaxing and enjoyable. The team took great care of us. We did a fishing trip with Captain Tomy and actually split up into teams of two for a little competition of who could catch more fish. It was great fun and Captain Tomy actually went and caught us some lobster to have for dinner as well! We highly recommend fishing with Captain Tomy. We rented a boat for a couple of days and where able to keep it at the private dock. It's truly great fun to go out for lunch or a swim by boat and have a little private cruise around the canals. It was truly a home away from home; it’s as simple as that. The team was very welcoming and helpful in whatever crazy questions we asked or situations we found ourselves in. We definitely will be returning for another stay here.

Outdoor space is awesome!

We were very pleased with all of our experiences with both the owner and the home. Claude was very responsive to our emails and easy to deal with. The pictures of the home portray it well - the inside is roomy and the kitchen is well equipped. The furnishings are not luxurious, but they are fairly new, comfortable and clean and as represented in the photos. The outdoor space is incredible! As the photos and description show, there are two large outdoor tables and many chairs for the tables. We had 21 people over for dinner and everyone had a comfortable seat. Additionally, there is a low seating area that is closer to the dock, but still in the fenced area and under the banyan tree. That tree is enormous and gives wonderful shade. We are outdoor people so we spent most of our time in one of these outdoor areas or just gazing at the occasional boat passing by on the canal. My only hesitation in recommending the property is if you are traveling with a person who has trouble getting in/out of bed. The beds are low and you would simply want to be sure that everyone in your party is without mobility issues of this type. The beds were comfortable and fine for us, just stating this as an fyi. We'll definitely be staying at this property in the future when we're in the Pompano Beach area. The location is very convenient to restaurants, beach, grocery, etc. and the value of the home for the price of the rental is very, very good.

Excellent Property

We rent in Florida all the time and for us this was one of the best properties we have rented. Amazing location, lovely, relaxing home. And everything was very clean. The tiki hut is awesome. The owner is very responsive and provided us with great information about local restaurants, shops and attractions.

Not as advertised

Home is nicely equipped and in a nice location. The large inflatables pictured are not there nor were we informed of the change. It is advertised to have a whirlpool/hot tub. Not true. No hot tub at all. Whirlpool is built into the pool but the jets have no pressure. Owner said jets were turned down to be comfortable for all guests. Poolman said there is a problem the owner won't fix and if the jets are turned up the pool will drain. Guests are not in control of the house thermostat. Owner dictates settings from half way around the world and tells guests what is comfortable. Claims it was our fault because of doors being opened during the day but that is no excuse as to why the nights were miserable. I feel we should have been given a partical refund for not having a whirlpool/hot tub. My family always rents homes for vacation with hot tubs and assumed we would have that luxury to enjoy this time but no such luck. We have never had problems with any other rentals in over 10 years. Glad we are happy people and made the best of it but I cant reccommend renting this property.

It is in a nice location, pretty good size pool, just needs 2 more things: more washrags and TV's.

The beds were comfortable and good sizes, the appliances were amazing, and there were only 2 washrags we could find, and maybe could use a TV in all the rooms. And the fishing was good too. Thank you for the experience! 😊

Excellent Property - clean and tidy, spacious yard with pool and in a great location!

As first time VRBO users we were unsure as what to expect. When we arrived however we were blown away by how nice this property was. The yard is huge with plenty of seating and the entire place well kept. The screened in porch and large open living space made it easy for us to hang out together in the evening when we returned from a hard day at the beach. The location of this property made it easy for us to get to local beaches and nearby attractions. Thank you Claude for making our first VRBO experience a very positive one. I would highly recommend this property for families looking to escape the hotel scene and have a more homely vacation experience.

Das Feriendomizil von Nicole und Claude war echt super. Sehr schöne Lage an einem Kanal. Das Haus und das Grundstück am Pool ist ein Traum. Supermärkte und Malls sind ganz in der Nähe. Another Stay in Paradise

This was our 3rd stay at Claude's home and it is exactly that, a home. This isn't just a house, but they have thought of everything to give you all the comforts of home. Our family has severe allergies and Nicole and Claude go all of their ways to make sure that their staff has done a thorough job of cleaning and removing items with our allergens, so that we can start relaxing as soon as we walk through the door. Their home is truly a tropical getaway. The huge backyard is an absolute plus for hanging out at any time of the day. Since the villa is very well located, it is so close to some of the best beaches in Florida. It is also right around the corner from premium shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. It is also so large that for the 4 adults and 2 kiddos, there was still plenty of space to relax and not feel crowded. We can't wait to go back next year! Perfect stay at a beautiful home!

I am an IT engineer who relocated from NY to FL with my company. At first, I only booked this property for a couple of days and intended to look for a permanent rental asap. Well, I quickly extended my stay after I had stayed here for a couple of days. If it had been possible to enter a long-term lease for this property, I wouldn't have hesitated a second to do so, especially after I had seen 20+ long-term rental properties on the market. This property has one big plus none of the other properties on the market has: a HUGE backyard and a LOT of space for entertaining. Since I have a family with smaller children, I also appreciated a lot to have the backyard fenced, especially towards the canal. Enjoying the awesome and unobstructed water views on the canal while having a cool drink under the shade of a tree or in the marvellous pool is very relaxing, especially after a tough day at the office. My wife and children spent entire days at the property without leaving it. Actually, it's more like a private resort than just a house. As an IT engineer, I also work a lot from home on the weekends and I liked the fast and stable internet connection. Even in the backyard, I was able to have video-conferencing sessions. The villa itself was very clean at our arrival. It's well equipped and all appliances are new and in stainless steel design. It's also very well located, close to the beach, the shops, restaurants and the Golf Course. I would highly recommend this property to any other guests, especially with children. Amazing getaway!

A big thank you for making our stay as easy and delightful! We all had a truly amazing holiday. The house itself was very clean, well maintained and spacious for our party of six. The view from the dock is fantastic, it is a pleasure to see the wonderful boats passing by. The kids had fun to try fishing. We enjoyed spending most of our days relaxing by the pool, hanging out in the huge backyard, doing barbecues and ending the evening with a cocktail in hand in the stunning lounge under the Banyan tree watching the sunset.

Had a wonderful stay at this villa. It's a perfect hideaway from the busy life and perfect for indulging yourself in a laidback vacation. Away from busy roads but close to shopping and restaurants it is located in a nice quiet neighbourhood. There is more than enough room for our family of 6 and the pool was a hit with both adults and kids. The place offers plenty of opportunities for activity including boating, swimming, diving and snorkeling, outdoor fitness at Pompano Beach's promenade. The villa was very clean and cosy, the kitchen was well equipped and the barbecue was a great bonus. An excellent holiday was had by my entire family, we will definitely book again and would thoroughly recommend the villa to anyone else. Bob, Syracuse NY

Very poor property and unprofessional owner

Warning! It has now been 7 weeks since we vacated the property and have not received our deposit back or had any response from the owner despite numerous emails. We left the property how we found it. Claude please contact us. When booking the property all communication was swift. Questions dealt with very quickly (shame this is not the case since we left). We were very excited to stay at the property after reading all of the reviews. When we arrived at the property we couldn't believe that these 5 star reviewers had stayed in the same property. It's worlds away from being 'immaculate' and is in desperate need of a good freshen up. The whole property smelled stale (we ended up buying our own air fresheners just to mask the smell), the furniture in the back porch was filthy, the floors were filthy, wardrobes broken, wires laying around outside (be careful if you have kids), stained sheets (which I was told is 'not policy' to replace - disgusting), signs EVERYWHERE telling you the rules, it's like being back at school. We had to clean the place ourselves and wash the bedding just to make it liveable. Pool was filthy, full of dirt, leaves and debris, had to wait 4 days for this to be cleaned. We were trying to be positive, we're in sunny Florida! Went to have a shower and the pipes were blocked which caused both bathrooms to flood along with an even worse smell that covered up the musky smell from before. I emailed Claude and was told there is a plunger in the garage - this didn't work (he also implied we had blocked this ourselves which we certainly hadn't as there was a giant sign above the toilet reminding everyone not to flush anything but toilet paper!). Claude sent someone over to fix it who then spent most of the day removing sand from the pipes from previous guests and apologised (no apology from the owner though, he doesn't like negative feedback). As per previous reviews, the wifi was poor, I had to constantly turn off the wifi on my phone as it kept disconnecting (and before they reply that I might have been far away from the property, I wasn't). Only positive is the location, close to beach, shops and golf club which is good as you won't want to spend much time at the property. The whole group of us were pretty miserable which is a shame as we had travelled from the UK for this holiday. It seems that the owners refuse to take any constructive feedback onboard. Hopefully they listen to this feedback rather than telling me I'm wrong.

I only need one word ....OUTSTANDING!!!!

Beautiful home, beautiful spot, great location, everything the pictures show and more. The villa is more like a private resort than a rental. I have vacationed in many parts of the world but if you are looking for a relaxing warm weather spot in a magnificent home close to the beach this is it. Restaurants, shopping, beach, oceanwalk, playground, golf course, everything you need is nearby. The management and staff are very friendly and responsive. The villa is updated, all furniture, bedsheets, appliances etc. are new and it was very clean at our arrival. The backyard is unique and the landscaping is very nice, especially the Banyan tree providing natural shade. And since the property is so large, my daughters had plenty of spots to enjoy their sunbathing sessions as well. On a scale from one to 10 this is a 10.

Ruim opgezet huis. Goede bedden ( redelijk nieuw zoals vermeld in de advertentie). Mooie ruime keuken, alles wat nodig is aanwezig. Grote dubbele koelkast. Een geweldige tuin met groot zwembad. Voldoende ligbedden en tuinsets. Het grenst aan het kanaal maar je hebt absoluut geen last van de varende boten. Rustige omgeving met voldoende supermarkt/winkels in naaste omgeving. Een super huis.

Great house for a family vacation

This house was exactly as presented online, and the garden was even bigger and better than what you see in the images. The owner Claude gave prompt answers to all our questions and had everything in order even if it all was remotely arranged by him from Europe. We stayed in the house with two kids (3 and 6 yrs) who really enjoyed the heated pool, the little play house and the big garden, and even indoor toys. Even though this house is located right at the canal, your kids are safe behind the fence down by the water. The location is great, with just a few minutes drive to a grocery store and restaurant, and 10 minutes to the beach. The Intracostal Waterway is just a couple of hundred meters away, and we even had a family member visiting us with his sail boat in the canal just by the house. The interior was clean and nice with all kitchen supplies you might need, wifi (although a bit slow and unstable), and cable tv. All in all this was a great place to stay and I would really recommend it - especially to families traveling with children!

Perfect holiday location!

Wow. A three minutes - drive to the beach, with a great reef for snorkeling or diving. The house and the backyard are huge, the pictures don't do it justice. Everything is new, everything works, and it has everything you could possibly need. The constant ocean breeze makes it pleasant on any of the outdoor decks/patios, and the private dock or the lounge by the canal are perfect to watch as the sun sinks into the horizon. We stayed with another couple and there is plenty of room for a crowd of guests, or to be alone if you prefer. There are a lot of good restaurants in various price categories in the vicinity, but if you want to cook for yourself the kitchen is modern and well designed, or you can use the gas grill. Although we didn't need anything, the owner was very friendly and gave us some great tips for restaurants. The house book has suggestions and they are all excellent. The pool is great and crystal clear and the patio furniture is comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and seems to be very safe. We loved the house and will be back next year.

Magnificent views, beautifully decorated and luxurious house, great location

We had a wonderful vacation, we received great service from the owner and his staff. The villa is very attractive and comfortable, the view is amazing and the pool is crystal clear and very relaxing as is the entire backyard. There are many toys for kids and our kids were so happy playing with them for days. There are many good restaurants in the area, but the kitchen is also very well equipped and the outdoor barbeque made us very happy! Wonderful and very relaxing holidays!

My husband Mike and I rented this villa in April 2015. The villa was clean, neat and very cozy. The huge backyard offers so much space for entertaining that we din't leave the property for days but to go for shopping. We especially loved the provided kayaks and we were having a lot of trips to the nearby beaches or restaurants with them. Would definitely recommend to friends and family! We rented this villa from Claude in May 2015 and we just came home and booked another week in October. What a beautiful place, a comfortable and well-appointed villa and a great location. The place was immaculate. We had all the amenities of home and the peace and tranquility of the large backyard and the pool, surrounded by palm trees and colorful flowers and we enjoyed every second of it. In the mornings we enjoyed coffee in the lounge overlooking the pool and the Intracoastal, watching the green parrots fly by and the boats sail by. The pool was cleaned several times a week and the grounds well cared for. Claude provided us with Top 10 lists of information about beaches, restaurants, pier bars and other activities, which saved us a lot of time. It was extremely valuable information to us and much appreciated. We shopped locally and enjoyed many of the area restaurants. We are very excited about our next visit to Florida and staying in “Paradise”. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet location, away from the crowds, but close to the action and the beautiful beaches. Nick & Lisa Hartman

The area is just wonderful and everything is close by: beaches, excellent restaurants, public golf and tennis courses, grocery stores, a secluded intracoastal park with fitness trail, tennis courts, movie theatres and stores. Also Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach and Palm Beach are great spots to visit within a short time.
