Home rental close to DT and Uvic

Five bedrooms, two bathroom home with one parking spot, laundry machines, beautiful big backyard located in a quite street close to downtown Victoria and University of Victoria.

In this beautifully furnished home, you will find tons of features. One fully furnished kitchen makes cookings while away possible. You can wash your clothes in our laundry room. This a duplex and you are renting half of the duplex. There is also a ground suite under. Backyard is shared with lower suite tenants.

Located on bus route. One bus ride takes you to downtown. Soccer field within steps. (Reynold’s park).


Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
Please take off your shoes before you entering the house.

Please respect neighbors's privacy and please keep quite during sleeping hours.

Please use your common sense and keep the place in a reasonable clean state.

Please wash all dishes before you leave. We have a dishwasher.Please put all the dishes into the dishwasher and use the soap provided under the sink.

Please dump all the garbage into the garbage bins.

Please use the parking spot as instructed. Please do not block other people's driveway and use one spot at a time ( some guests park one car in two spots please avoid that).

Please recycle and sort garbage. Sort waste into recyclables, garbage, and composts.

We do allow children but no screaming and yelling at all hours thank you for understanding.

Amazing stay!

This host prepared everything to ensure a comfortable stay. There are many rooms, so the area felt more open and not stuffy at all. There is a laundry unit which was also very nice, and the host was communicative and responded to all questions very quickly. Thank you.

Great stay for a team retreat

We had a Workshop at UVic, and a Team Strategic Planning exercise. The space was good to sleep 6 people in their own rooms, have meals together in the kitchen, and strategic plan in the living room using the big screen tv and on the couches and chairs. It was totally adequate and a good price for our small start-up. Thanks for hosting us!

Spacious house

The house had more sleeping room than we thought. It was older but clean. We enjoyed the location. There were a couple of things that need attention. The driveway is difficult to find first time. The walkway to A has a loose stone which could be a tripping hazard. The bottom step is precarious especially for older people. The kitchen table needs dowels in the extension boards.

Liked there was 5 beds for larger families. Floors were squeaky in every room hallway.no AC terrible in summer stay. Had black chunk hair on my bath towel. Drive hidden hard to get in n out of. Curtains were ol dirty.couch was not as appears in picture old n stained.

Clean but not great shape

The house is old, which is fine, we could see they have started to improve it. What is not fine is the tenants/neighbors smoking weed outside the windows all night, basic things like paint peeling off the walls, in the shower, missing chunks of the counter in the bathroom, no a/c and no screens on the windows so you can't even leave them open. The outside is just dirt and weeds except for the broken down patio set with cigarette butts in a can on it. The house itself has potential but right now, it's just run-down with not great neighbors and I can't recommend anyone stay there.

Disappointing and Needs Work

We checked in to this property and left within the hour. While it was clean, there is a lot of damage, including crumbling front steps, burns in the curtains, damaged blinds, a couch missing cushions, etc. The beds were uncomfortable, the yard was shared and unusable, the layout was odd. If you look at the listing, you'll notice there's only a picture of one room and, while it looks nice, that's the couch missing cushions. The other rooms aren't updated and would not photograph well. Even though we only stayed an hour and rented a different place, we only received a $100 refund on this place. We booked a really nice place for the same amount within an hour. Still trying to get VRBO to honor the trip insurance and trip cancelation fees I paid, just in case...

spacious, comfy house with privacy

The house has lots of room to spread out with a large group- 5 separate bedrooms and 2 baths (one is en suite). The kitchen is well equipped, but could use a few more utensils like a larger spatula and a couple of mixing bowls. We didn't find any sugar on hand, but there was a variety of teas and coffees, and several kinds of milk in the fridge (left by previous guests). The dining area is a little cramped, but serviceable for our party of 6 (the place will sleep 11 comfortably if you are mostly couples). It would be great to have an outdoor table and seating in the yard or on the terrace. The house sits at a busy intersection, so we did notice quite a lot of street noise at night, especially in the front facing bedrooms (the master and the 2 small bedrooms off the kitchen). The location was not ideal, as our activities were all in the downtown area, about a 15 minute drive plus parking. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. It would work well for a longer stay, especially for a group attending a conference at the university or something similar.

Decent accomodations, great price, nice part of Victoria

The 5th bedroom is quite a bit smaller compared to the other 4 (looks to be a converted mud-room). With that up front, the place was great, we all (group of friends) enjoyed having privacy in the separate bedrooms, or hanging out in the living room together - resulting in a great stay in Victoria. This property is frankly hard to beat - 5 bedrooms, for the price and the location (about 5 minutes from a big mall, and about 10 minutes from the downtown area). Thank you!

Great time in Victoria !!

We stayed here for a week. The pictures are accurate to what you get at the house. We had a few issues but, Kris was great in responding quickly in taking care of them. Loved that we were only a 20 minutes away to downtown Victoria and 20 minutes the other away to the Butchart Gardens and other venues to see. The house was very spacious for all 7 of us. Definitely come here again. Thank you April and Kris.
