Excellent home for large family gatherings. The rooms are good size with ample storage spaces. Kitchen is well equipped with all the basic supplies covered for. The AC/Heating units function well and easy to tune. The host was very responsive and made sure that we never felt un-supported.The basement is a feature that is not highlighted enough on the site! It adds to the available spaces with a full mini kitchen and a separate office space in addition to bedroom, living room and a full bath. All in all an excellent few days in Arora, IL.
Our group of friends had a wonderful short stay at this home. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean and all the bed used were comfortable. Bathrooms were great. It was great to have a powder room in the main level. Some helpful hints: Main floor family room off the kitchen needs more seating area. One large sofa did not allow all of us(8) space to sit Need a source of lighting over the large table in dining room. We were unable to sit there and dine after dark. Need hairdryers in bathrooms upstairs. Place plastic liners in wastebaskets in bathrooms also. Also bathrooms need hand towels. I hope these ideas will be helpful. We knew this was a new home toVrbo listings and we would stay again.
Family members traveled from Northern Wisconsin and Western Pennsylvania to join in on the celebration of another family member's 45 years of teaching/retirement observance in nearby Yorkville. Three generations stayed comfortably in the spacious home. (7 adults and 2 children)To our surprise, there was another bed in the basement/recreation room which freed up one of the bedrooms upstairs and allowed an out-of-town friend to spend the night after the celebration. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to be able to make our own dinners. We very much enjoyed eating together at the large dining room table. The house is in a nice neighborhood and is very accessible.Only complaint is that the neighbors celebrated the 4th of July for 3 days and shot off fireworks well past the kid's bedtime. (They did seem friendly and would have probably let us join them if we asked.)This was my first time using Vrbo and the experience was excellent.
