One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. Super cute, clean and comfy. Great location for visiting both Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon. Hosts were very welcoming and gave great recommendations for our trip.

This was the cutest VRBO I've ever stayed in. The host was excellent with communication and kindness. I have never stayed at a place that had so many amenities and niceties right down to farm fresh eggs and homemade muffins. Very clean with a lot of personal touches .Would definitely recommend this place as it was close to everything we wanted to do like all of the national parks in that area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casita! The decor and vibe was just like in the photos, clean, cute and comfortable and a pleasure to spend time in. Jami was a very attentive host via messages and it was clear that this is a project near and dear to her heart. We loved watching the sunsets over the dry fields behind the house and reading in the living room while cows herded by in the distance. The one thing that I didn't realize until I got there is that it is situated in a corner between two well trafficked roads; I was hoping it was more in the middle of nowhere, as we could hear car traffic, but it was not super loud. We also enjoyed visiting the Forestiere Underground Gardens in Fresno, worth checking out!

A Dream Place to Stay

This was the best VRBO experience ever! This adorable place was spotless and so comfortable. The owner had so many perfect little touches to the home and thought of everything a traveler might need.

Awesome place in the valley

Jami was awesome always answered questions...fresh eggs the girls were so sweet, the house was perfect Jami must be "Martha Stewart " the patio area was perfect the bed was perfect, my husband loved the blueberry muffins!!! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area

Great place to stay with so much to do in the area

We loved our stay over the fourth of July weekend! We went boating on Millerton Lake and the next day we enjoyed floating at Bass Lake with our dog. Our dog finally got to enjoy Fourth of July with no fireworks at night nearby! We also love the Table Mountain Casino and amazing restaurants just 15 minutes away. Jami is an excellent host and has gone above and beyond with every detail to make sure her guests feel welcome and comfortable, including providing Farm Fresh eggs for an easy morning breakfast! We love the new decor and it has such nice warm vibes, which made it fun just to hang out when we weren’t out on our adventures. We will definitely be returning with our boat and our dog!

What a great find!

The hosts are very generous with amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked. Linens were top quality. It was immaculate, comfortable and a well taken care of place. I rent a lot and am not usually so pleased but these hosts have thought of everything. I loved the quiet, the birds outside and even the nice book on Highway 99. I appreciated feeling safe and private in their family compound. There were wifi issues but not a serious problem for me on my short stay. I look forward to returning.

The Little Casita

Our host was awesome. Her 1st concern is that you are happy and comfortable. We find fresh eggs and butter in the fridge with a host of other treats. Out back is a nice patio with BBQ looking out over a grass field waving in the breeze and a small grove of eucalyptus trees full of birds chirping away. A very relaxing getaway for sure! Thank you so much Jami, for you kindness and hospitality! See ya next year!!!

This place is absolutely amazing!!!My girlfriend and I came here for our first Valentine's day getaway and Jamie really went the extra mile to make this an incredible weekend for us. The place is situated on a large open ranch with beautiful hills toward the back that created the scene for the most beautiful sunset we had ever seen. Nearby is Millerton lake, which we would highly recommend as it was spacious, beautiful, and not touristy so it was quite easy to find spots to hike, swim, or relax with no one around.The casita was immaculately clean with new appliances, synergistic decor, and a very very comfortable bed. Jamie is warm, welcoming, and thoughtful and made sure we were comfortable from beginning to end.The casita felt like home and we were already planning our next trip back on our last day!This was one of the most incredibly magical weekends we had ever had and if you have the fortune of seeing this listing PLEASE BOOK!!Thank you for everything Jamie and we look forward to seeing you soon :)-Cagn

Joni was accommodating from day one! She was attentive to every detail. The national park was requiring reservations due to the number of visitors because of Corona. Joni messaged me and advised me to check in on this. She said she hated for us to travel across the country, only to arrive, and not be able to see what we came for. Additional things I requested, were fulfilled with no questions. Her goal is to make those of us, that travel afar, to have the least amount of worry and inconvenience. The house was exactly as described in listing. If we ever visit this area again, we would definitely stay at this property again. Joni is definitely a super host!

Serenity & Stunning sunsets

I really enjoyed my month at Cowlifornia Casita. Jami made the rental process effortless with great communication prior to check in. Jami & Ed were wonderful hosts who’s goal was to provide the perfect stay. The casita was fully equipped with everything I needed for an extended stay with extra special touches which included charming decor, comfy bedding, special sundry items. farm fresh eggs, an impressive snack tray and bottled waters on arrival. After long days of coordinating home renovations the casita was just what I needed to relax and enjoy breathtakingly beautiful sunsets and peaceful evenings. A special little bonus was their very sweet cat Graybear. She was my little buddy. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little casita

We stayed at CowLiFornia for nights. Jami was in touch with us well before our visit. Place was clean well furnished and came with some snacks and breakfast foods. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs to unwind.

Our gateway to a new life

Me and my wife relocated to Fresno from Seattle and stayed at the property while we looked for and purchased a new house. The Cowsita was so nice and cozy and had all the amenities that we needed to make our stop gap a success. Jamie was great to deal with. Being out of town and in the rolling hills made it a tranquil place to stay yet 15 min away from top of the line shopping and dining. So much adventure near by to enjoy or simply curl up to book for a cozy weekend.

Wonderful stay at the Casita

We loved this spot. It was a great jumping off point to all the national parks in the area. We stayed for 7 weeks working remotely and the moderately strong wifi worked well for us. Jami is a great host and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good for us.

Remote Working Retreat

The Cowsita is the perfect place to stay for a longer term home away from home! Jami had such thoughtful touches in the home that were beyond many rentals I’ve stayed in. Fresh eggs to start your trip, enough paper products to get you through at least the first week, all the seasonings/spices you need, shower toiletries, gate opener/remote... you name it, she thought of it! It is very fashionably decorated and spacious. I was working remote and had no issues with the internet. The back patio was my happy place, and there were outlets so I could even work out there. Jami was also so easy and personable to work with on any questions/ concerns that came up. As a solo traveler, I always felt very safe and secure on the property. The location is perfect for bopping back and forth between Yosemite and Sequoia. If you don’t feel like going all the way to the parks, there is some very nice hiking and a lake nearby. I also didn’t realize that there is a wine region in the entire area surrounding the house as well, so that was an exciting surprise! The property feels very remote, but it is only 15-20 minutes from restaurants and shops... a good balance if you’re looking to escape the city but not be inconvenienced. One thing to note is that the owners live on the property, but Jami and her family were very nice and kept to themselves unless you needed assistance. There are political flags on the front gate since it is their home, so I could see that bothering some people. Thank you, Jami, for a great month!! I really appreciate your hospitality!!

Favorite vacation rental

Stayed here for two weeks and it was too short! Very serene and beautiful. Loved the views out of every window. Jami was very friendly and helpful! Home is very clean, quiet, thoughtfully decorated and well stocked with anything you could need.

Relaxing Getaway!

The Cowsita was beyond our expectations! My fiance & I work so much & just can't decompress in the city the way we can here at the casita! It was so cozy & homey. There was fresh muffins & fresh eggs right from their chickens! They even had complimentary snacks & water bottles. The kitchen had all the necessary for us to cook our food. There was plenty of towels. Jami's husband was nice enough to bring by some firewood for us to make smores on our last day. The bird watch tower was so dope! It allowed for great views. It did lightly rain on one day, but it only brought us a giant double rainbow over the prairie! It was just a 5 minute drive to the lake for us to go fishing, and another 5 minutes to the casino! But besides being so comfortable & relaxed all weekend, my favorite part was the view. We would love to come back & will definitely be recommending to others!

Loved it.

The Cowsita is cute and cozy. The views are beautiful and the family that owns the property is so kind. My wife and I stayed here for 3 months and had a wonderful time. We travel for a living and wish all the places we stay were like this. We definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to the area.
