The house was lovely and secluded - COMFY beds (we’re actually going to replace ours at home for what we slept on there). The windows in the bedrooms upstairs are HUGE, giving you a breathtaking view of the sunrises on the lake every morning. And you’re so close to the shoreline there that the sound of the breaking waves lull you to sleep. The host was terrific. Highly recommend this bright and airy spot! We WILL be back!

We loved our stay in this well appointed home right on Lake Huron. The morning sunrise view is breathtaking. The host had every amenity you will need including kayaks and paddle boards which are a must have. Would highly recommended A

Just as we hoped, on the water, plenty of room for family, modern amenities, and remote location. Remember to bring the majority of your groceries to the island with you, as this property is beautiful, clean, yet is a long drive to the island outpost for any forgotten items. The hosts were very attentive with our questions. All of the island locals we met were very friendly and helpful. The use of the property bikes and kayaks was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

This was a very wonderful family vacation. The property is amazing with a breathtaking view. The place looked brand new. All the amenities a person could possibly need is provided. A terrific trailhead at your front door to the lighthouse. A 4 mile hike on a well groomed trail, but well worth it. Bicycles provided if you prefer. A great beach with fire pit and wood was provided. Kayaking was fun in the Crystal clear water with the provided paddle boards and kayak. Airport on island provides a short flight to Mackinaw Island. The ferry ride over to Bob-Lo Island was a treat in itself. Highly recommend this as an excellent choice for family retreats. The owners were excellent in their communications and also in their attentiveness to assure our time here was perfect. Will definitely be telling family and friends about this place. 5 star week on Bois Blanc Island will ensure we will be returning!

The house was spectacular and I don’t think we could have asked for anything better for our long weekend. The house is well built, thoroughly thought out, and the attention to detail is outstanding. Ok the good weather days, it was a perfect home base for our adventures and on the one rainy day, we had an awesome time playing family games, watching a movie and just comfortably hanging out. It helps that the island was better than we could have hoped, everyone we ran into was so nice, and it was one of the best trips we’ve had. I can’t recommend staying here enough and we will definitely be coming back.

This is our second summer staying at Coho and enjoyed it even more this year. We are a young family with 4 kids (11 and under) and this house was perfect. Bring water shoes for the beach and make sure to stay long enough to enjoy the island. Chris and Linda are extremely gracious hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We have visited BBI 3 summers in a row and this is the nicest home on the island.Would not hesitate to recommend A.
