Welcome to beautiful Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Our home is an inviting coastal retreat located in a quiet, family centric neighborhood. Relax and enjoy an authentic beach town experience at your vacation-inspired home away from home!

Downstairs: Kitchen, Counter seating and Breakfast Nook, Family room, Dining room, (1) Bedroom w/queen bed and french doors to patio, full bath, laundry room, pool room and workout room. *(Garage not included) Ample parking in driveway and street.

Upstairs: Master bedroom w/king bed, office and private bath w/jacuzzi tub and custom walk-in shower. (1) Ensuite w/queen bed and full bath, (1) Bedroom w/queen bed, (1) Bedroom w/twin bunk bed, and (1) additional full bath.

Kitchen is spacious and well equipped with upscale stainless steel appliances and includes bar seating great for entertaining. First floor has an open flow from the kitchen to living spaces, and multiple french doors that open out to the backyard, patio seating and ocean breezes. Home is bright and airy with natural lighting throughout.

Relax in your private backyard w/newly built covered patio with outdoor seating, heaters, built-in BBQ and bar seating or enjoy a game of ping-pong in the front yard with security gate for privacy.

Less than one mile to some of the best local beaches, surf spots and tide pools including San Elijo State Beach and Cardiff Reef.
*Annual CA State Beach Parking Pass included with rental. (Summer daily rates for beach parking cost $15-$20/day.)

Half mile into town to the local gourmet market, Seaside Market, home of the famous "Cardiff Crack". Enjoy restaurants, cafes, craft beer tasting room, and specialty shops including surfboard/bike rentals.

Quarter mile to Encinitas Community Park with walking/bike paths and trails, large playground, skate park, picnic/BBQ areas and sports fields.

4 miles to Del Mar Racetrack/Fairgrounds; 10 miles to Legoland; 25 miles to San Diego Zoo & Downtown and Airport

1 mile to San Elijo Lagoon, a 1,000 acre wetland with over 1,000 species of plants and animals, hiking/running trails, museum and nature center.

Encinitas and Solana Beach Train Stations are minutes away to catch the Coaster or Amtrak

Cardiff dream

We experienced an impeccable stay and loved every minute of our 4-week stay at this beautiful Cardiff home! The property was pristine and offered the perfect getaway for our family of 6 to enjoy all month. We were walking distance to town and rented electric bikes to enjoy easy access to the beaches, shops and restaurants. Some of our favorite memories include sitting outside under the heat lamps for evening relaxing, visiting with our close friends in the perfect home for entertaining and using the extra bonus rooms for Lego building, playing with toys, and downtime! The home was fully stocked with all our cooking needs and Sue went the extra mile to create a personalized experience which added so much joy to our stay. I highly recommend this property in beautiful Cardiff-by-the-Sea!

Wonderful house incredible area!!!

We really enjoyed our time in Cardiff. What a great house with plenty of room. Sue was very accommodating with our check in and check out times. It was a very pleasant and relaxing time. Would love to rent the property again

PERFECT!!

This was a perfect home for our family of 8 adults 2 kids. Large dining room table that fit us all. Pool table was great; beach towels, chairs, umbrella supplied for the beach. Very private backyard. I would book again!

Great experience !

Overall, a very nice experience to have spent a week in Cardiff by the Sea; lovely house in a quiet street amongst very nice neighbors. The house was clean and nicely prepared in all manners for my family’s stay. From the moment we arrived we noticed The owners tough of everything, they welcomed us with delicious treats from the local market. The kitchen was well equipped for all types of cooking; very functional and well supplied with spices and cooking oils. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and stocked with towels and bed linens, and basic supplies. Backyard was an extra pleasant setting for a backyard breakfast or dinner. Also nicely equipped with a gas grill. We thank the owners for thinking of everything ahead of time. And we would seriously consider doing this again next year. Sincerely, The Jordan Family

Not enough usual household supplies. Dishwasher tabs, trash bags etc. very nice bedroom furnishings.

The den seating furniture was uncomfortable and for a home that sleeps ten not nearly enough seating in main living space. Room for 4 only.

When he first brought me here from San Francisco almost 20 years ago, the city girl in me instantly fell in love with the laid back, beach-inspired lifestyle of the Cardiff area. Our family loves to travel and this summer we look forward to sharing our home and charming town with vacationers while we're also away creating our own new memories and experiences!
