We came to Anchorage for the Mayor’s Marathon and wanted a place close to the finish. The finish was in Delaney Park which was about 2 blocks away the park stretches about a mile long. Perfect location as you were about 1 mile from downtown. Easily walking distance to shops, diners, and pickups for most excursions. Communication was a little slow at times prior to arrival but nothing too serious. The layout gave plenty of space for my son and I. They had all the things you would need for showering. Plates glasses and dishwasher (paper plates would of been nice) Great quiet location. Does have laundry machines on site. They are coin operated with no machine for getting coins, so bring some quarters if you plan on using them. Did have some laundry detergent available for use. The place gets a little warm in the afternoon when the sun comes thru the window into the living room, but there were fans available. It met all our needs and would recommend the location as it was clean and comfy. The small down side of things: we were there for over a week a few extra washcloths would have been nice. There was extra TP and paper towels if you ran out but not Kleenex. We had an issue with the Keurig coffee maker (would not turn on). We informed the host the 1st day, apologized for the issue as nobody said anything before and it looked new even. We were there for a week and I guess I had hoped a new one would be brought for use since we were there for a week. Otherwise, gracious host. 5
