About this property

Family Vacation Beach Cottage ~ Across from the Beach

Only weekly rentals are available in June and July from Saturday to Saturday.

Please note, we only rent to families and have a minimum age requirement of 25. We do not rent to student groups. Though we appreciate your interest, there are no exceptions to this policy.

Our beach property consists of a main duplex cottage plus a guest house. This listing is for the rental of one side of the duplex only. Each unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living area and kitchen. It will accommodate up to 6 guests. If you need additional space or will be vacationing with a larger group, check for the availability of the left side of the duplex ( property ID # 1088711) or the left side + guest house listed separately under property ID # 1074283.

Relax and unwind just a few steps away from the most beautiful beaches in the world. Our cottage is located in Laguna Beach, on the quiet west end of Panama City Beach. It is situated directly across from the beach in an old residential area that gives you an idea of what the beach was like before the big high-rise condos.

Amenities include a flat screen TV with satellite in the living area, Wi-Fi internet access, full kitchen with basic dishes and cooking utensils, shared wash room with a full-size washer and dryer, charcoal grill, and an outside shower to rinse off after that fun day at the beach.

Our cottage is conveniently located about 4 miles west of Pier Park outdoor shopping complex. Thomas' donuts and the local Carousel grocery store are an easy 2-minute drive. Wal-Mart, Winn-Dixie and Publix grocery stores are also close by. Restaurants to suit any taste are nearby.

Panama City Beach has many fun attractions such as Shipwreck Island water park, Gulf World, Wonder Works, Ripley's, snorkeling, parasailing, go-carts, putt-putt golf and lots more for your family to enjoy. There are also two state parks within a few minutes’ drive.

The Frank Brown Baseball/Softball Complex is only 4 miles away and Laguna Beach Christian Retreat is less than 1/2 mile from the property.

Perfect for a small family

We are a family of four and the rental was perfect for us! The parking is right in front of the home. Beach access is LITERALLY across the street. I timed it at one time and it takes 2 minutes from the door to the sand. The outdoor shower is great! We were very happy with the rental and plan to stay again

Fantastic place to stay for people with less mobility. The beach was just across the street and everything in the home is on one level. The second bedroom is a bit small but otherwise great place to stay. Not enough room for a table but has counter and barstools. It worked ok. Being so close to the beach was best part!!

Right across from beach access. Just right for our needs to have quiet comfortable place to sleep after relaxing all day on the beach. Comfortable beds! Close to Pier Park for restaurants etc but away from hustle and bustle. We have stayed here before and will again.

John was very pleasant to work with and the communication was excellent. The house is exactly as described and the bed was comfortable. It is a very easy and quick walk to the beach. Even though the house is right on Front Beach Road it was very quiet. We would stay here again.

Quintessential Beach House

This was the quintessential beach house. Not too fancy, but perfectly adequate for a weeks stay at the beach. The wash facility was great to have, and had supplies provided. The walk to the beach was so convenient. We had easy access to the activities we participated in. For a small group this was a great place to stay. It does only have one bathroom, so make sure your group is okay with sharing a bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

More than adequate for our needs. Location was amazing - away from the craziness of the condos and pier areas. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves and it was so close, we went twice a day.

Why they chose this property

As children we vacationed here with our families and have always wanted to own a vacation home in Panama City. We were hooked on this property the first time we saw it. We loved the classic look and feel of the home and the fact that it is directly across the street from a public beach access walkway made this the perfect choice for us.

What makes this property unique

Did I say this property is directly across from the beach? Our cottage is located in an old residential beach area so you don't have the crowds that come with the large condos, however we are a 5 minute drive from Pier Park, the hottest new area in PC with shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, amusement rides, live entertainment, and of course the huge County pier for those who like to fish.
