Weekend Getaway
Very nice, roomy, clean, large bathrooms, king sized beds, very safe location, quiet, close to stores and places to eat, but we alway bring our own food and much better made and nicely setup and complete place. The view from the balcony is just great. High up enough to avoid the people at the pool and just the sounds of the ocean waves and a great evening and morning breeze. You can see the moon relecting on the ocean and the stars out at night. If you head towards the east about 100 yard, the beach is far less rocky and great for swimming. Looks like the rocks provide some great fishing and the staff was very helpful and responsive when we checked in. There is always a guard at the gate, even late at night, who gets you all setup and even assisted with getting our gear up to our room. Do you research as for activities in Rock Point, lots of options, but set up your own schedules and bring CASH, most of these activities do not take cards. Hose back riding, jet skis and the boat trips. Careful on the boat trips with booze, the college groups get a bit much and not for kids.
