Guests staying in Shorewood 130 enjoy a landscape view and won't cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean using Shorewood's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Toddlers enjoy their separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Shorewood 130 has a spacious living area and wireless internet. It is a favorite among renters seeking an Oceanside getaway with a great value. Bad Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let’s start by saying it’s a nice place but outdated - it has lots of carpet with lots of sand that doesn’t come up with sweeper... The bedding had huge stain that was urine or coffee and I called to get replaced. The elevator was broke for 3 days and I had to carry all beach stuff down and up unlit steps - called 3 days about garbage area that was not in shoot and area was filled with bugs ... still waiting for a refund adjustment

Prime location but unit really needs updating and maintenance

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: These units are in the perfect place - steps away from the beach and a very short walk to shops & restaurants. The pool is great too.The unit is pretty dated though, with carpet (at the beach??) and no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The queen bed was not comfortable, there are no curtains in the rooms (just blinds) so the light from the parking lot pours into both bedrooms. The toilets are rough to flush - you have to push pretty hard for it to go. The master shower is kind of annoying to get in/out of but isn't the worst. We had to use the washer/dryer due to a toddler accident - I was very thankful there was one in the unit. The washer is quite loud though. The hall bathroom's tub really needs to be cleaned out as it drains terribly slow. And the dishwasher is in dire need of cleaning the filter - it smelled AWFUL. Dishes are 'cleaned' in there....But the location is great, the grounds are well-maintained, love that there is a garage to park, the unit is spacious, the area is quiet, and the pool is really nice.

This unit is great - extremely clean and well cared for. Bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. As stated in the description, it does not have a view of the ocean, but is more reasonably priced then those that do have the view. Location is fantastic!

Mixed emotions

From 9-5 everyday except Sunday made it impossible to enjoy it. We had to leave everyday to avoid all the loud drilling & banging. I wish we would been told this would be happening before we rented.

Great location

This was a great location, beachfront and walkable to restaurants. The unit is a little outdated, but in good shape and very spacious. Lots of good lighting inside. First floor was convenient (even though the elevator was out of order and the nearest steps were being rebuilt) and had parking underneath the building. The balcony looks at the side of the building and the parking lot.

Great location

Overall very pleased with the stay and the space. Upgrading master to a king and the secondary to two full size beds would go a long way. Also the fabric on the furniture could use attention Felt like grandmas house but that isn’t a bad thing. Love the mirrors adds a lot of visual space.

Loved the Location!

This property is nice and true to listing. The location was great! Right on the beach and very close to the Coligny shopping plaza. It also had the best pool of the condo complexes I’ve stayed at on the island. No issues or complaints!
