About this property
Old Florida bungalow on a tranquil Gulf Island Perfect for Couples or Anglers
Escape to this romantic Old Florida bungalow on a tranquil Gulf of America Island. Perfect for couples or anglers, relax on your private screened patio, savor stunning sunsets, or gather by the fire for unforgettable stargazing. Fire up the grill after a day of kayaking, fishing, or boating, and watch for dolphins, manatees, and coastal wildlife. This hidden gem offers a one-of-a-kind waterfront retreat near Weeki Wachee Springs and other Gulf Coast adventures. This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath Bungalow is a true Old Florida coastal retreat. The fully equipped kitchen and screened-in patio with grill make dining a delight, indoors or out. Guests have access to the historic crab shack, which features a half bath, outdoor shower, fire pit, and fish cleaning station, plus the floating dock—perfect for kayaking, fishing, or tying up a boat up to 20 feet.
Just steps away are Norfleets General Store with boat ramp (for small fee), Aripeka Stone Crab Co., and connecting bridges, where you can enjoy stunning sunsets. This hidden gem offers a one-of-a-kind coastal experience in a serene Old Florida artist haven. Guests are welcome to text, call, or message via the app anytime. I’m always close by and available if needed, but I typically respect guests’ privacy and stay out of the way so you can fully enjoy your stay. While your space is entirely yours, the crab shack and dock are shared spaces, and you may occasionally see a neighboring resident. We kindly ask guests to be respectful of their privacy and to observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 8 AM to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.

About the host

I grew up here in Aripeka. My father started Aripeka Stone Crab Co. in the 80s and we have always cherished this Island. I moved abroad living in LA, New York, Miami and traveled the world for work before returning back to the area last year.
