The Mount Hillary - Charming 2-bedroom/3-bed apartment at The Courtyard Mallow

The space
This apartment has two bedrooms, the first bedroom has a 5ft king sized bed and the second has two 4ft 6in queen/double beds, making it ideal for a family, with its multiple beds and comfortable living area to settle down after a day of adventures.

We use White & Green luxury organic cotton bed linen on all beds and Dalkey liquid handmade soap to ensure our guests can fully unwind during their stay. Both bedrooms are ensuite for your comfort and privacy.

The apartment is equipped with all cooking facilities you need as well as strong WiFi and a TV.

There are shared laundry facilities onsite, as well as a newly installed EV charger.

The Mount Hillary Apartment @ The Courtyard Apartments Mallow is situated on the grounds of a stunning 250-year old country house and farm. There are three separate self-catering apartments onsite, located just outside Mallow in the heart of North Cork and 'The Crossroads of Munster'.

There is a tennis court onsite for guest use and rackets etc. are provided.

We welcome some pets, subject to prior arrangement with the host and certain house rules.

We had a great stay! Communication with Martha was wonderful, she checked in often to make sure things were going well and if we had any needs that needed to be taken care of. Apartment was clean and set up well for travelers. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We usually don't like to cook when traveling, but we ended up cooking twice while staying and had everything we needed to make two full meals. Great water pressure that heated up quickly and stayed warm! We were quite pleased with the location which was central to quite a few locations and very close to Cork. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Beautiful property , clean and lovely home. We had a fantastic time staying here. We had a family of 5 and were very comfortable in the home. Bill and Martha were especially kind and wonderful. They were very accommodating to our requests, and even went beyond. When they heard our youngest son was going to sleep on one of couches they brought in a fold away bed and set it up for us. They made sure to check on us regularly via messages and in passing. And it was a great base camp for us for our needs. 30 minutes by car and 20 minutes via the train, which was less than 10 minutes from property, to Cork city center and Absolutely do not hesitate staying on this lovely property. Oh, and seeing as it is a fully functional farm, they do have animals and such, but honestly they became part of the experience, noises are not bad, they are become part of the background. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to my own family and friends.

What makes this property unique

The Courtyard Apartments are to the rear of a 1780’s Georgian House steeped in history in the heart of Munster. The apartments are situated on a working farm with sheep, cows, horses, hens and two dogs. Overlooking the Blackwater, and just a 5 minute drive from Mallow town and train station. Cork, Killarney, Limerick, Kinsale, Cashel, and the Ring of Kerry are all within easy reach by car.
