Relaxing, Amazing Stay

The owner did a great job setting up our stay for success. He was great with communicating and the place has everything we needed. We were sad to leave for the weekend but are looking forward to booking again!

This cabin is definitely way better than advertised. We have stayed in MANY cabins for family vacations and this was by far our favorite and we will absolutely stay here again. Its VERY clean its updated and spacious but still feels cozy like a cabin. It has all the essentials you will need from your bathroon needs to a full stocked kitchen. Not to mention the relaxing creek right in your backyard off the nice big deck where I spent most my time relaxing, reading my book, enjoyng a glass of wine and on our last night enjoyed grilled cheese and tomato soup dinner. They have a good selection of puzzles and games that we didnt even need to bring out the games we brought. We played their clue game every night then watched a family movie on one of their many streaming options. They definitely had all the fun family essentials we needed to make it great family fall break vaca. A few other key points is it centrally located to pine and Payson its roughly a 20 min enjoyable nature filled drive to restaurants or to the Tonto natural bridge park where we enjoyed a beautiful hike. Coming from the east valley at 100 to the quick 1.5-2 hr drive to a high of 70 this was the cooler fun family getaway we were looking for and needed.

I chose this property very quickly and have to say, I didn't notice that it had no posted reviews. I will give you my experience and hope that helps others make a more informed decision regarding booking. The home was, for me, accurately portrayed. You can see most of it in their pictures. Its a sweet cabin. Well done updates, great bedding, nice appliances, large variety of assorted cookware, ice cube trays (no maker) strong wifi, hotel quality bathroom amenities and manicured property. Owners told us code to enter and others tips, prior to stay. It's approximately 5 miles of dirt road to the home. 30 plus minutes to town so bring in what you need so your not aggravated by having to make a run for hamburger buns! The cabin in and of itself was lovely. The neighborhood it's in, leaves a bit to be desired. We took a walk around and it lost its sense of enchantment (Sorry, 3 girls). I grew up living in a area like this so i wasn't as uncomfortable as my adult daughter was. Many properties pretty unkempt, large barking dogs on properties (understandable), people's yards are small junkyards and workmen and vehicles all over the place (probably a good sign).Used as a home base, the rental is nice and well priced. We were not bothered by anyone while there. The 3 of us felt comfortable inside the home and on the property during our 3 night stay. Also, they do have central heat and air!I hope this helps anyone wanting a first hand experience.
