Lake house with ample room for the whole gang plus! Has a great room with 70" TV, pool table, ping pong, and Foosball table with grand fireplace. Kitchen and dining area with comfortable living room on lakeside. Screened in porch with huge hot tub, bar stools for a beer and place to put your feet up. Three private bedrooms, 2 rooms with queen beds, one private bedroom with 3 twin beds and one full bed (two bunk beds). Two additional rooms with Futons. Additional sleeping with futon and a twin hide-a-bed in living room. Two bathrooms and shower. Washer and dryer. Two deck areas, one facing lake with porch swing and one with gas grill and picnic tables. Game cleaning station located in three season porch. Outside water access. Plenty of parking.

Fantastic outing at a great property

This was the perfect cabin for a weekend with family and friends. There is room for yard games, a nice deck, and plenty of games inside. Highly recommend!

Great Cabin for our annual ice fishing trip

Summer family weekend

They were over 10 of us family and friends that met for the weekend. This was great for accommodations. It did rain all weekend, but that activity room was a great option for the kids.

Great Cabin for Ice Fishing Trip

We had another great stay at this Lake Poinsett cabin for our annual ice fishing trip! We had a small issue with the furnace, but the owners were very responsive and had it fixed within a couple hours. Great place to stay with plenty of room for a large group. Will hopefully be staying here again next year!

We stayed at this cabin for our annual ice fishing trip and it was a perfect fit for our group. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we were needing. The filet table on the porch was a great amenity. We will likely be back next year!

Lots of Fun!

The property offers lots of entertainment for family members, even if the lake/weather didn’t always cooperate. Pool table, ping pong, foosball, and hot tub.

Fall Family Get Away

We had an amazing time at this location. While it could have been cleaner when we arrived it is what it is. We had a great time and enjoyed the break from everything. The house had almost everything we could have asked for and was big enough to accommodate our big group. The kids even enjoyed all the animals on the wall and games.

Awesome Lake Getaway

Had everything we needed to have a wonderful family get together. None of us wanted to leave! Entertainment for everyone and the fishermen loved just fishing off they dock when we didn't take the boat out! We actually caught more fish there! Can't wait to come back!

Waterfront spacious cabin with game room!

Our family enjoyed this spacious cabin that is a few steps from the dock. Rain can come down while you are enjoying pool, ping pong and fuoss ball or relaxing on the sectional while watching a movie or enjoying a game. Most amenities are included. Ample parking. You will love it!

We built this lake home in 2 stages, the initial cabin in 2000 and the great room and screened in porch area in 2008. Our family utilizes the lake home in the summer and opens it up to hunters and wildlife conservationists during the fall.

Why they chose this property

We are an avid hunting and fishing family. Since we reside on 320 acres of hunting heaven and own an additional 160 acres of wildlife area, we welcome hunters to stay in our area, either hunting or enjoying the wildlife in this area of South Dakota.
