What a wonderful place. The care that was taken to preserve the natural history of this darling home is evident. The outdoor space is lively and so serene. We would stay here 1000 times if ever in the area again. Beds were comfortable and host was responsive with any questions.

Wonderful stay, host was very responsive, and property and house were gorgeous! Our kids and dog loved the property including the outside swing and the pond. Beds were so comfortable too! Thanks for having us and we will definitely stay again!

This is a lovely property. It is an older house, but has been completely renovated. It is decorated beautifully and is surprisingly roomy. Three nice sized bedrooms, two full baths and a large family room. The outside area was as nice as the inside. Large old trees provide shade, nice outdoor furniture, firepit and swing overlooking a pond. It was too hot for us to enjoy the outside amenities, but makes me want to plan a trip in the fall just to enjoy those items. The basket of local items was a nice touch. Finally, the King mattress is the most comfortable of any rental we have ever visited. I would highly recommend this property if you need lodging in the area.

House was very cute and well stocked with everything you might need while you’re out of town! Located down a quiet road the location is perfect for a quiet getaway. Rose Hill plantation is a 10 minute drive away so it’s convenient if attending an event there like we did. Check in and check out couldn’t have been easier and the welcome gift basket was very thoughtful. Thank you!

We stayed here when we came to visit friends for my daughter's 17th birthday. We used to live in Red Oak and she wanted to go back for a visit. The house is adorable! I didn't realize we would be turning down a private dirt road to get there, so we weren't sure if we were in the right spot to start with. The location is beautiful and private. We had trouble with the door keypad. Sometimes it recognized what we were putting in, and sometimes it didn't. The host unlocked the door remotely for us the first time. After that we left a window unlocked & we did have to climb in once. So I think it's not the most reliable keypad, but that was the only 'negative' about the stay. tThe left a welcome basket of goodies & the house was super comfy. We loved all the soft blankets. We would recommend this home for your stay

This property is simply fantastic. This is my third stay at the property (we have family in the area). It is a secluded but beautiful location with lots of charm. It is an old, but renovated home, with some of the classic original features still present. It is well appointed, and always super clean when we arrive. We have no complaints and look forward to future stays. Thanks for enabling what was a great trip!
