Set at 9,016 feet with sweeping views of Rosalie Ridge and the surrounding mountains, this pet-friendly 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin was designed for guests who want the beauty of the Rockies, the comfort of a thoughtfully stocked home, and the rare quiet that only comes from being truly away.

Just about an hour from Denver, 45 minutes from Red Rocks, and close to hiking, Staunton State Park, scenic drives, and the Mount Blue Sky wilderness area, the cabin gives you the feeling of escaping into the mountains without being cut off from the world. Bailey is rural, friendly, and wonderfully low-key. People wave, smile, and help when needed, but privacy is part of the rhythm here. It is a place where the pace slows down, the sky opens up, and the mountains invite you to reset.

Spend your mornings with coffee and panoramic ridge views. Watch deer or wildlife move quietly through the trees. Work remotely with fast Starlink internet from the dedicated workspace, then close the laptop and step outside into clean mountain air. Soak in the private 8-person hot tub under the open sky, gather on the covered deck around the gas fire table, grill dinner outside, or curl up beside the cast-iron wood-burning stove with firewood provided.

Inside, the cabin balances rustic Colorado character with modern comfort. The vaulted great room features warm wood walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, cozy seating, an electric fireplace, Smart TV with streaming and live TV, and stereo sound for music or Spotify. The fully stocked kitchen includes full-size appliances, a gas cooktop, cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee options, basic pantry items, kid-friendly cups and utensils, and everything you need for shared meals or quiet nights in.

The cabin sleeps 6 across three comfortable bedrooms. The primary suite includes a king bed, Smart TV, dedicated workspace, pack ’n play, mountain and forest views, and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in tiled shower. The additional bedrooms include comfortable bedding, Smart TVs, ceiling fans, closet storage, wooded views, and peaceful spaces to rest after a day outside. One ground-floor bedroom looks directly out toward the trees, with a chance to spot deer or other wildlife passing through the yard.

The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and guest essentials. The primary bath offers a spa-like walk-in shower and double vanity, while the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms include tub/shower combos, making the home convenient for families, couples, friends, and longer stays.

The space

The room includes comfortable seating, a Smart TV, electric fireplace, stereo sound, and a cast-iron wood-burning stove for true cabin warmth.

Whether you are making a quick breakfast before hiking, a family dinner after exploring, or a slow brunch with coffee and mountain views, the kitchen includes the essentials to make your stay easy. You will find full-size appliances, a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher with pods, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee options, oils, spices, sauces, and kid-friendly plastic cups and utensils.

The dining area is perfect for shared meals, board games, cards, planning the next hike, or sitting around the table long after dinner. We stock games and playing cards for slow mornings, après-ski hangouts, family game nights, and friendly competition.

Outside, the cabin offers multiple ways to enjoy the mountain setting. The private 8-person hot tub sits in the backyard beneath the open sky, perfect for crisp mornings, snowy evenings, or stargazing after dark. The covered deck includes Adirondack seating, string lights, a gas fire table, and mountain views, creating a warm outdoor spot for drinks, conversation, or quiet time. A grill is available for outdoor cooking, and the patio and deck areas give guests space to enjoy the fresh Bailey air.

The home also includes washer and dryer, smart thermostat, high-speed Starlink internet, remote workspace, convenient parking, basic first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and safety features required for local short-term rental licensing.

The neighborhood

Bailey is a small mountain community with a rural, easygoing feel. It is close enough to Denver for a weekend escape, but it feels like a real departure from the city. AWD or 4WD is highly recommended in winter. Roads are maintained, but snow and ice are common in the mountains.

This is a quiet rural mountain neighborhood. No parties, events, or loud outdoor noise, please. Guests come here for peace, privacy, and the mountain setting.

The cabin sits at 9,016 feet elevation. Please stay hydrated, take it easy when you arrive, and give yourself time to adjust if you are coming from lower elevation.

The hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced regularly.

We are pet-friendly, with a limit of 3 dogs/cats per booking. A $30 pet fee applies per pet.

Check-in and check-out are contactless with a smart lock. Your code will be provided before arrival.

Wildlife is common. Please do not leave food, trash, or scented items outside or unattended.

We provide starter supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher pods, and other basics. Longer stays may need to bring or purchase additional supplies.

Firewood is provided for the wood-burning stove. Please use all fire features responsibly and follow posted instructions.

This is a mountain property. You may see wildlife, changing road conditions, snow, mud, wind, insects, and other normal parts of rural Colorado cabin life.
