Absolutely wonderful stay. The house is beautifully maintained, thoughtfully stocked, and feels both elevated and genuinely comfortable, the kind of place where you immediately relax and settle in. The mountain setting is peaceful and stunning, with great light, lovely outdoor space, and easy access to hiking and nearby towns. Every detail felt intentional and well cared for, and communication with the host was seamless from start to finish, we would happily return and recommend it without hesitation.

What an amazing house! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The house had everything we could have asked for. We (family of 4) were staying with friends (another family of 4) and it was so nice to each have our own spaces. Boys at the bottom bunk room- far away so they could make lots of noise and stay up late. Girl in the tower like a princess so she could have her own private getaway (away from the rowdy boys). The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook often- all 8 of us fitting around the table. We cozied up by the fire to watch a scary movie, sat out on the porch swing soaking up the views, and the ping-pong table got its fair use too! It’s quite far from the town center (and grocery store)- with crazy winding and steep roads- but that’s just what we were wanting- an escape from the city. The owners have really outdone themselves with thoughtful provisions, high end houseware and design elements. They did not skimp. The sheets are soft, blankets are cozy, beds are great quality, dishes are sturdy. We’ve stayed at several home rentals before- and this totally raised the bar! The owners were really communicative , easy to get in touch with if we had any questions or needed help. We hope to stay there again to continue exploring the area- maybe in the spring!
