About this property
Charming and Cozy Room in beautiful Eureka Victorian
Enjoy a unique stay in one of Eureka’s original homes, built in 1907. This classic Victorian blends historic charm with a modern, artsy twist. Surrounded by plants, art, and handmade furniture, the space inspires creativity and ease.
Just blocks from local restaurants and cafes in Henderson Center, and a mile from Old Town Eureka’s shops, dining, and the scenic Humboldt Bay.
The neighborhood is safe and welcoming with easy parking. For those without a car, a bus stop is across the street.
A steeply gabled roofline sets the tone for this charming and architecturally distinctive home. Inside, you’ll find timeless details like five-panel doors, wide wainscoting, and a cozy clinker brick fireplace. The kitchen features a beautiful exposed brick wall over the oven and other delightful original accents that give the space character and warmth.
Step outside to a lush garden view from the patio—perfect for morning coffee or an evening wind-down by the tabletop fireplace. Feel free to pick some fresh chard for your breakfast!
Whether you’re here to explore the towering redwoods or the pristine coastline, this home is a cozy and creative home base for your Humboldt adventure.
Guests have full access to their private bedroom and shared access to the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. You’re also welcome to enjoy the front porch, back patio, and garden areas—including the cozy outdoor seating around the tabletop fireplace.
Please feel free to make yourself at home in the shared spaces while being mindful of others in the household. We’re a relaxed, respectful home and want you to feel comfortable during your stay.
This is a private room within my home, with shared access to common spaces like the kitchen. The household includes myself, another friendly housemate, two dogs, and a cat, so animal lovers are especially welcome!
While I tend to keep a low profile due to a busy schedule, I’m always happy to chat or offer recommendations to help make your stay in Humboldt extra memorable. I’m available if needed—either in person or by phone—and I look forward to welcoming you.
