This charming cottage was perfect for a couple, it felt like we were inside a House Beautiful Southern Cottage edition.Very walkable to lovely downtown Mount Dora.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Mt. Dora - our stay at Dickenman Cottage was the high point! Walking in the door, we immediately felt a sense of welcome and calming relaxation. The decor was amazing - every detail thoughtful and charming. All our needs were met and expectations exceeded for a most memorable weekend!
Perfect lil cottage. Welcome sign and music on cd upon arrival, gave that lil extra niceness to enter. Enjoyed all the antiques, art, decor and a very comfy queen bed. Immaculate cottage with everything you can imagine you would need for a short stay or a weekend. Love Mt Dora and would stay here again.
The cottage is absolutely adorable and has everything you will need for your stay. The neighbors are so sweet and welcomed us when we arrived. The shops and restaurants are close and easy to get to. We came for the holiday lights and they did not disappoint. Thank you for the welcome sign and soft music playing. Your home is so comfortable and the decorations are beautiful!
John was a great host! Very friendly and attentive to all questions. His property was well kept, comfortable and we needed/wanted for nothing. The cottage is clean and nicely located near downtown so we were able to walk to all of the holiday events.
The home was situated in the historic district and was easy walking distance to the commercial area. It was vey tastefully decorated. It reminded of a Key West property we stayed at. The property was represented as the listing stated. My wife enjoy cycling and pickleball and it’s a great area for both of these activities. Many Thanks
John was very kind and accommodating. When I walked in there was a sign personally welcoming me and nice relaxing music playing. He has everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable. The outside areas are welcoming, relaxing, and quiet. So many little places to sit and drink coffee, wine, or read. I would highly recommend The Dickerman Cottage.
I couldn’t have asked for a better cabin to stay at!
