The location was great but be careful of staying with pets. We had our pet food out and came back to a thousand ants / fleas in his food. When we contacted the host, they assured us they do routine bug checks, however, we could see the bug trail going into the wall by the entrance. We looked outside to not find any bugs, but found a small hole in the wall that they were coming out of. The host requested us to download WhatsApp to send a video of the infestation, then after an hour had a staff member come out. We went down the street to buy Raid immediately as bugs were everywhere and did not want our pet to get ants/fleas on him. Staff came and sprayed more raid. Be careful if you stay here with pets, otherwise the location is perfect.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our property is on a scheduled monthly treatment plan with a licensed pest control specialist to proactively prevent insects, including ants. Preventive service is part of our routine maintenance to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained environment for all guests. As mentioned in your review, pet food was left out. In warm climates, exposed food can naturally attract ants, even in properly maintained homes. While we always aim to prevent any occurrence, we understand how frustrating this situation must have felt, especially when traveling with a pet. Once notified, we responded without hesitation. We requested a video to properly assess the issue and dispatched a staff member within the hour. The affected area was treated immediately to resolve the situation and prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. We respectfully feel that a 2-star rating does not fully reflect the property’s condition or the prompt action taken to address the concern. That said, we genuinely appreciate your feedback and your positive comments about the location. We remain committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, prevention, and responsiveness for every guest.
