About this property
Ashford Mansion. NO CLEANING FEE. W/HOT TUB
Welcome to the stately Ashford Mansion, a Country Mansion which is a 1903 residence on the national register for historic places. Enveloped by nature, live in a park-like setting, where wrap-around porches are set amongst a background of old-growth evergreens. Built in the Colonial Revival-style, no detail is spared, from the coffered ceilings and medallions to fifteen crystal chandeliers and sconces.
Open double entry doors to vintage fir floors and a living room anchored by an Italian Carrara Marble fireplace with a hand carved mantel. The bright and open concept invites you toward the stairway, formal living/dining areas, and kitchen, where decorative painted wood columns and extensive wainscoting meet steeped ceilings and beadboard paneling.
There are seven unique bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and their own distinctive feel, nearly all with their own sink, a nod to the home's history as a bed and breakfast. The master suite is punctuated by a free-standing pellet stove and claw-foot tub set upon a rock wall. Verandas on each end of the second floor add romanticism to any evening, from the four outdoor chandeliers to the sound of a nearby stream.
The family room features a wood burning stove, cultured stone surround and vaulted ceiling, complete with exposed fir beams. The painted wood kitchen cabinets are accented by Corian countertops and a built-in marble window seat. Head out either set of French doors on the main level to all the outdoor offers. Entertain in a parlor where a fireplace begs for a winter game night or opens up space for springtime barbecues and relaxation.
In addition to the main residence, the grounds are home to a detached 5-car garage and barn for the hobbyist, hot tub and water feature, and gazebo for seasonal entertaining, all enclosed by a gracious brick wall and electronic gate. At the rear of the property, the two level rockery reflecting pool and waterfall perches at the edge of the woods, offering a tranquil space for reflection and relaxation among nature.
4 NIGHT MIN STAY. STAY 6 NIGHTS, 7TH NIGHT FREE!!!!!!!!!
NO WEDDINGS, FAMILY REUNIONS, RECEPTIONS OR PARTY'S OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED.
**THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $100 PER PERSON, PER DAY CHARGE FOR EACH PERSON AFTER 8 GUESTS**
