Our extended family of 8 spent Thanksgiving week at this wonderful house and it was a great space for all of us.The view is truly breathtaking and just gets better and bigger the more you gaze out upon it, it's framed beautifully by a gnarled tree to the south and the perfectly weathered gray cedar sided cabin to the north. We watched weather, waves, birds, and surfers each day and it was all mesmerizing, restful, and restorative. There is nothing like falling asleep (at any hour of the day) to the sound of the ocean and waking to find it still there...;) Hot tub amazing place to watch the world from any time of day as well. Easy open cover, clean, super warm. Steps away from house and shelter even on a cold night.House feels like the hosts want you to be there and are welcoming you in. Lots of great info about hiking and local attractions. Brian the local property manager is amazing and our rental included 2 free surf set ups at his surf shop--he's an incredible resource for places and happenings around town, and really made our stay lifetime memorable. Thanks Brian!I ran out of characters--editing now for brevity.Kitchen was well equipped, we made a pretty large holiday meal (no turkey) in it and it suited us.There are lots of stairs, our elders used the grade level side entrance and that worked well for them.BEWARE! Despite multiple "all fees included" messages on the VRBO site our reservation was over 500 more than the price listed in my screenshot. :(
