The home was great the environment was very relaxing. The fishing wasn't very good but I believe it was due to the weather. But we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
Loved the country setting with opportunity for husband to fish. Nice roomy well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Nice towels and sheets. We appreciated working with the host to change some of our dates to stay there! The outside temperature while staying there was comfortable enough to spend a lot of time on the covered porch! The refrigerator needed a little more cleaning. Noticeable crumbs on shelving. The air intake for air conditioner unit by the washing machine needed dusting. Also a lot of dust on the lower shuttered section of the master bathroom door. The knit slip covers on the two sofas in the living room area had stretched and were drooping on the floor, not tucked in behind the cushions. We covered them with some sheets. We did enjoy staying there! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! I’m so glad you enjoyed the peaceful country setting and that your husband got to spend some time fishing. We’re happy to hear the cabin was comfortable and well-stocked for your stay! I also appreciate you mentioning the small cleaning details — we’ve already shared that feedback with our cleaning team to make sure everything is spotless for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking such good care of the cabin. We’d be happy to host you guys again anytime!
This VRBO was definitely a nice calming getaway from the everyday life! To sit on the porch and listen to the frogs sing at night was so relaxing. Watching the sky turning all the beautiful colors that change so frequently during a sunset was amazing too! The house was very clean and had the usual amenities that are offered for overnight stays at a VRBO.The communication with the owner was great, they wanted us to feel right at home and we did. Oh and the fishing was nice, we caught a few and threw them back. Loved seeing the cattle in the field next to us as well. Just a heads up, the porch lights are pretty when lit but here come the BUGS!We left them off and used a candle on the railing to detour them away from us. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We had a great experience. The home was clean and as described in the listing. The location was private and the pond and property were lovely. Will stay again!
