About this property
A Designer's Brick-and-Steel Loft in the Center of West Hollywood
Summary:
If you love being surrounded by beautiful things, this loft will pull you in. It sits in the bones of an old West Hollywood building, bare brick and riveted steel beams with skylights that bring the sun straight down into the room. Art hangs on every wall and design books stack on every surface, the kind of place you leave with a reading list. There's a low leather sofa to sink into, a kitchen equipped for a real dinner at home, and a bathroom that hides its best trick in a terracotta-tiled shower. Intimate, and made for two. That said, the location is the crown jewel: the heart of West Hollywood, steps from the restaurants on Santa Monica Boulevard and minutes from the Sunset Strip, and the thing guests bring up first.
The Space:
The loft is one open room and sleeps two. A king bed shares the space with a full sitting area, a dining table for four, and a dedicated work desk, so there's room to work, eat, and unwind without them running together. There's one full bathroom. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for cooking at home. High-speed wifi, air conditioning, cotton linens, robes, and grooming supplies all come standard.
Guest Access:
The entire loft is yours, with no shared spaces. You'll let yourself in by smart lock through the entrance on Santa Monica Boulevard, so you arrive on your own schedule. Parking is one spot in the lot across the street.
The Neighborhood:
You could let a whole day pass without leaving the block. Javista coffee sits on the ground floor, an easy place to start the morning over coffee or linger with a matcha and a pastry. A few doors west, Laurel Hardware serves dinner and cocktails inside a converted hardware store that kept its old facade, and the night carries on from there. When you want the full LA ritual, Erewhon is a short drive for the cold-pressed everything and the people-watching that comes with it. Runyon Canyon is close for the morning climb, and the beaches at Santa Monica are an easy run west when the city's had its turn.
Getting Around:
Central to most of Los Angeles. You can walk to dinner and drive anywhere in the city without much fuss. Rideshare arrives in minutes, Metro and bus lines run nearby, and LAX is twelve miles south. Parking is one reserved spot in the building's garage, which spares you the West Hollywood street-parking education most visitors get.
Other Things to Note:
*Please note that there is no elevator in the building. The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs only.
*The property is located in an urban neighborhood. As with most city locations, guests should expect some street, pedestrian, and neighborhood noise.
*There is a coffee shop located on the ground floor of the building that operates until 10:00 PM. While most guests find the atmosphere lively and enjoyable, those who are particularly sensitive to noise may wish to take this into consideration before booking.
*Pets are welcome for an additional fee. Please inquire before booking.
*Optional daily housekeeping services are available for an additional fee and can be arranged in advance or during your stay.
*Prior to check-in, guests are required to complete and sign an online check-in form, which includes the property's Terms & Conditions.
