Traditional Navajo Home - Monument Valley, UT

Step back in time and stay in our truly unique and magical Traditional Navajo Hogan. This is a traditional dwelling build with local Juniper Trees and mud as it has been done hundreds of years ago. You will have a touch of modern amenities with an elegant queen sized bed, water dispenser, and some electric to charge your devices. Experience life the traditional way and disconnect from our crazy modern world. Guests have access to our bathhouse a short distance away. A truly unique experience in the heart of Navajo country! Stay inside a traditional Navajo dwelling. This is a 22ft diameter hogan with side walls that are 6 ft. The hogan is built with mud and juniper trees harvested from local sources. It stays cool in summer and warm in winter. The whole at the top connects you to father sky while you're visiting and is a traditional feature. Features: Propane Stove, Antique Ice Box, Phonograph, etc. We offer a campsite with the bare amenities and you will experience the raw nature and tranquility of the area. We are close to The Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and key restaurants and grocery store in the area. here is a play swing near the campground. There is a bathroom with a toilet and a sink. There are two showers of which you have access. We are family owned and operated. You will experience very little interaction at our campsite. But am available on site from 9am till 6pm. I can be reached at +1 970 317 1495 This is a quite location about a 0.9 miles headed west from the Monument Valley Intersection. Gouldings Restaurant and lodge is a half mile from our location. The View Hotel and Visitor center is roughly 4 miles away. There are no forms of public transportation in the area. We are accessible by car only. It is a dirt road to the campground but is easily accessible by a low level car.
