Our stays are designed to be seamless and self-guided, allowing you to arrive, settle in, and enjoy the space at your own pace. However, should you need anything—from assistance with the home to local recommendations—we are always just a message away through the app.

Our home is located in a historic Charlotte neighborhood that is currently experiencing gentrification and revitalization. The area reflects the authentic character of the city, with a mix of longtime residents and newer neighbors from many different backgrounds and cultures.
What truly defines this community is its diversity and sense of everyday city life. You will see neighbors out walking, families spending time outside, and people going about their day. This is a lived-in urban neighborhood rather than a secluded or resort-style environment.
We welcome guests who appreciate staying in diverse, evolving communities close to the heart of the city. If you are looking for a more homogeneous or suburban-style setting, another neighborhood may be a better fit for your stay.
Inside the home, however, guests will find a peaceful and comfortable retreat designed for relaxation after exploring Charlotte.

Guests will have full private access to the home during their stay, allowing you to relax and enjoy the space as your own. This includes all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and outdoor spaces.
The backyard is fully fenced and offers comfortable outdoor seating—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Charlotte.
For your convenience, the home features self check-in with a smart lock, allowing for a smooth and flexible arrival experience. Your unique access code will be provided prior to arrival.
Guests may also use the private driveway and designated parking areas available at the property.
Please note that a small number of owner’s closets are locked and reserved for supplies and housekeeping. All other areas of the home are available for guest use.
We kindly ask that guests treat the home and neighborhood with care so everyone can continue to enjoy the space.

Disclaimers

Our home has been refreshed for comfort, but it is not brand new. Expect some dents, scratches, or other signs of normal wear that are typical in a well-loved home.
Credit card fees are not refundable.
The house is located in a gentrified neighborhood, which means there are both newly built homes and older homes with neighbors from all walks of life. If you are not comfortable staying in a gentrified area, we truly appreciate your interest in our home but kindly suggest you consider another property.

Please respect our community by keeping noise to a minimum after 9:00 PM and never parking in front of neighbors' homes or blocking driveways.

-Pets & Safety
We proudly welcome dogs of all sizes and shedding types. Our cleaning team performs a comprehensive, professional cleaning between every stay. However, despite our thorough cleaning process, pet hair may occasionally remain due to its ability to cling to fabrics, float in the air, and resettle after cleaning. This is not indicative of an unclean home. Guests with dog allergies or sensitivities should consider booking a pet-free property. By reserving our home, you acknowledge and accept that an occasional stray pet hair may be present.

We make every effort to keep our backyard fences in good condition, but you are responsible for your pet's safety at all times. While the backyard is fenced, we are not responsible if a pet escapes by digging under the fence or is injured while playing unsupervised. Guests traveling with small dogs should inspect the fence line upon arrival, as smaller pets may be able to slip through in certain areas.

-Verification
Prior to check-in, all guests must complete our secure Guest Verification process, which includes ID verification, acceptance of the Rental Agreement, and a $50 non-refundable Damage Waiver.

Local Guests
Due to high party risk, guests residing in Charlotte or the surrounding areas must be approved prior to booking. Reservations made without prior approval may be canceled.

-Outdoor Amenities
All outdoor furniture, games, and amenities are provided on an **honor system**. Guests are expected to replace chair covers, return games and other items to their original locations, clean the grill after use, and pick up any trash. Our cleaners are not contracted to clean, organize, or put these items away, so we kindly ask that everything be returned in the same condition and location in which it was provided.

-Lawn Care
While we make every effort to keep the yard maintained, weather conditions or guest occupancy may occasionally delay scheduled lawn service. We appreciate your understanding that these circumstances are sometimes beyond our control.

-Nature & Wildlife
Our beautiful city is surrounded by nature, so you may encounter wildlife such as deer, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, snakes, spiders, palmetto bugs, or other outdoor insects. Please keep doors closed to help prevent bugs from entering the home. The property is professionally serviced by Orkin Pest Control every month; however, the occasional bug may still find its way indoors, as is common in the Southeast.

-Utilities & Comfort
Occasionally, utility services such as internet, electricity, water, or cable may be interrupted due to weather, accidents, or provider-related issues that are beyond our control. No refunds or discounts will be provided for these temporary interruptions.

-No Smoking / Candles / Open Flames
Smoking, vaping, marijuana, candles, incense, fireworks, or any other open flames are strictly prohibited inside the home for the safety of our guests and the protection of the property.

Acts of Nature
Severe weather, including storms, heavy rain, high winds, or other natural events, may temporarily affect the yard, utilities, or outdoor amenities. While these situations are beyond our control, we will do our best to assist whenever possible.
