Rainbow Bay is home to this holiday home. Haynes Public Library and Glen Stewart Mansion are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve and Rainbow Bay Beach. Briland's Blue Hole and Queens Bath are also worth visiting.
We had another wonderful stay at the Blue house!Drew is a responsive host and Mr Johnson, the local caretaker is so nice and accommodating! He does cook local food on a bbq for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on Receivers Beach (not far from the Cocodimama resort). We highly recommend having one of his bbq lunches on the beach! The house is awesome and has everything needed for a short or longer stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook.your own meals and the living room is the right size. The bedrooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The master bedroom even has a view of the ocean in the distance. The bathroom is ok in size and the washer/dryer is convenient for longer stays. The terrace is great to have breakfast and dinner on, and has some views of the ocean in the distance. The property is well maintained and nice to look at.The location is convenient for visiting the North and central part of the island. It tends to be a bit far to visit the South of the island though. We went to Lighthouse Beach and to the Cape Eleuthera Marina on two consecutive days and those were quite long drives back and forth. However, we would gladly stay again at the Blue house if we come back as we felt right at home!Overall, we highly recommend staying at the Blue house when visiting Eleuthera.
