About this property

Perfect getaway for couples ! close to Ludington or Baldwin.

We invite you to come and relax, in the recently updated, quaint log cabin. It is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or a romantic escape. Located 15 miles East of Ludington, 14 miles West of Baldwin and by the Manistee National Forest. This is a great place for trail riding, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, with access to a public boat launch 1/2 block away on Long Lake. Perfect for swimming, fishing or spending time in the water kayaking or canoeing.
This quiet cabin gives an inviting romantic, woodsy atmosphere, with modern amenities. This is a smoke free and pet free premises.
The cabin is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Kerig, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We have cable TV and Internet/ Wi Fi. The bedroom has a luxurious, king bed. There is also a full sleeper and twin sleeper for additional guests.
This quiet getaway provides plenty of places to relax, from sitting in front of the real stone fireplace reading, or in the gazebo or around the firepit.
A great place to clear your mind and getaway from the busy everyday life. Become one with nature and come relax at the red log cabin retreat

This was the perfect little quiet getaway cabin! The cabin was incredibly clean and well-stocked with the listed amenities. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and that bedroom had a quaint, relaxing theme. The location was perfect for our intended event in Manistee, but we also enjoyed being close to Ludington. We enjoyed the option to kayak on the nearby lake and the yard setup for activities.One of the selling points for us was that this cabin is down a paved road! We were in the area for a car show, so it was nice not to have to travel down a dirt road to get to the cabin for our stay. The hosts were very communicative about the check-in process and willing to be of assistance should we have needed it. We will definitely add this cabin to the top of our list for rebooking when we come back next June.

This place grew on us during our stay and we hated to leave on the day of our departure. The inside was well equipped for being able to cook and prepare meals. Another pleasant stay!

This is our second time staying at the cabin and it was just as nice as the last. The cabin has everything you need and communication with the owner is always great. Neighborhood is nice and quiet so after a long day in downtown Ludington, it’s nice to come back to the peace and quiet.
