Celebrate WINTER at our DIRECT WATERFRONT large 1200 sq ft queen bed (plus full size convertible sofa) studio guest suite in the walk-out lower level of our home. We are located in the MOST desirable and SAFEST neighborhood, on a cove of the LARGEST recreational pond in the area. Our home offers the rare opportunity to enjoy all the excitement of boating, kayaking, paddle boarding jet skiing, fishing, nature watching, etc. of the pond (or the casinos) and then a quiet escape when you are ready to relax.
As we head into winter, there is still much to do! Come enjoy the winter water views from your window or out on the pond by kayak or canoe. Watch the winter wildlife including several bald eagles or ice fish as conditions permit. Attend the multitude of local Christmas, winter and holiday activities in Mystic, Stonington, Westerly, Norwich, and many other surrounding towns or at one of the casinos!

This is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and recharge. Connect with nature or your inner zen.

We are centrally and conveniently located 45 mins from Providence and 50 mins from Hartford. We are 1 hour 40 mins from Boston and 3 hours from NYC. Historic MYSTIC, CT is only 30 minutes away.

The main pond is a 3 minute paddle or 1 min boat ride from our dock. The 840 acre pond has plenty of open water to zip around and plenty more spaces on sandbars and near the shore to set up for the day or float with a cocktail.

Fish from the yard, sandy beach area, or dock. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards (FREE onsite or BYO if you choose) can be launched from our yard/dock. 4 adult life jackets provided.

Optional dock space is available for ONE boat or jet ski which can be launched from the public launch located 5 minutes away.

A fire pit is located in the middle of the sandy beach area.

Guests enjoy self-check-in at a separate entrance located in the back of the house. You have the entire apartment to yourselves. The yard, pool, dock, beach, driveway, pond and all the rest of the property are accessible and shared with my family.

The rental suite has a private bathroom with a shower. Towels, wash cloths, and linens are provided.

Rest comfortably in the bedroom area on a queen bed with multiple pillows and extra blankets.

Relax in the living room on a full size sleeper sofa and a love seat. For the little ones, there is a pack and play with mattress available. Stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV.

The “kitchenette” area provides necessities for your stay. Including cabinets, a small counter space, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and mini fridge for your convenience. While there is no sink or oven, we have supplied some FREE paper/plastic disposable dish-ware, bottled water, COFFEE and DECAF k-cups, TEA, and add-ins to start out your visit. There is also a reusable pod you can fill with your own, preferred coffee.

Enjoy meals or work remotely at the dining area at the table and four chairs.

Shoot a game of pool or play some family games in the armoire for guests to use.

Lounge in the sun around the pool on the 4 lounge chairs, a dining table with 6 chairs, and another seating area with a loveseat and 2 chairs around the in-ground pool deck. [Chair cushions will be put away in inclement weather.]

The pool can be heated for additional daily fees.

Shoot hoops with the basketball hoop in the driveway. If we are around, there is a ball we can lend. But you may also wish to bring your own.

Small (under 40 pounds), well-behaved, fully house trained, behavior trained dogs are negotiable for additional nightly fees. Our dog Charlie lives here. Due to severe allergies in our family, cats and any animals other than dogs CANNOT be allowed.
