The cabin was very nice. It was clean and relaxing. The host was great and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be booking this place again.
This is one of our favorite spots we have ever stayed! We will definitely be back because it is a beautiful, clean, organized property with lots of stuff nearby!
Such a quiet, clean, and peaceful place to stay. A true retreat! Everyone got to do what they wanted on this trip...Fishing was GREAT!!, Hiking, waterfalls, the big lake, museums, and parks...just too much fun to mention. A GREAT family getaway!
I can now check off a bucket list item as we had a great cabin to snowmobile out of. The cabin was great and located right off the main trail system. We will be going back.
Everything was great! This was our very first Vrbo stay, so we weren't sure what to expect. Beautiful cabin, it far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. Mitch was super friendly and communicative. The property was easy to find and perfectly located to do all of the local things to do (like pictured rocks, munising, grand Maria's, etc). If I could give 10 stars, I would.
We loved this cabin and it’s surrounding!! Everything g was very clean and plenty of space! I would recommend people take a couple screenshots of the directions and map before heading there because it’s a dead data zone for a bit but we found it and enjoy everything about our stay.
We spent our honeymoon here and it was more then we expected. We plan to bring the family back next year for vacation. Very worth the money and drive. Excellent place.
The Woodford provided a great home during our first trip to the upper peninsula. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend the property.
Our stay was amazing and just what we needed. There was room for everyone, the house was clean and cozy! The front porch was my favorite. The kids liked the lake! Far enough away from town but still easy to get to. Will definitely be back!
We loved staying at this cabin. It was very clean, comfortable, private and in a beautiful location on a small lake. There was plenty of room for our party of 3. We had hoped to use the kayaks but ran out of time. If we return to the area we will definitely try to stay here again.
Everything from booking to checkout was wonderful! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The property was easy to find, in a beautiful secluded location. The place was clean and couch and beds were super comfortable. The views from the property were gorgeous and had tons of wildlife around to watch. Many hiking trails, waterfalls, and small towns to visit in a short drive. Will be coming back and recommend to anyone thinking of staying!
Our family stayed for 4 days and were disappointed to leave. The teens loved kayaking and fishing on the lake. The location was convenient and quiet so you could relax after a fun filled day! Will try and get back!

Great getaway!
The cabin was clean and comfortable. The owners made us feel welcome and responded to all emails and texts. The area is very secluded and is great for getting away from city life while being centrally located to all the beautiful things the UP has to offer. We visited Oswalds Bear Ranch, did a Pictured Rocks tour and saw the Tahquamenon Falls. We would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the UP!!!
