From the moment you drive up to the day of departure every second is special and that's all thanks to Debbie and Al for sharing their gorgeous home they have opened up for all to enjoy. My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Forest Gardens Getaway. The property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are fabulous people who go over and above to help with anything you may need. And Deb’s breakfast are out of this world!

Serene, secluded lakeside retreat

Wonderful breakfast! Screened gazebo was magical, hosts friendly and attentive. They made us feel at home. Property is simply gorgeous with a lake and amazing flower gardens.

A must go for those looking for a relaxing safe haven. Debbie and Alan are wonderful and welcoming hosts, and Debbie’s breakfasts will leave you speechless. The property is beautiful. Me and my girlfriend loved every second being there. The only negative was leaving, 10/10 relaxation retreat.

The hosts Debbie and Alan were outstanding, warm, friendly, helpful and hospitable. The breakfasts were delicious and made according to our dietary preferences. The location and exterior garden and woods were beautiful. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Debbie and Alan are the kindest most gentle people on the planet. The setting and home are surreal, peaceful, and perfect. This was the absolute best VRBO rental experience we have ever had!

Debbie and Alan are incredible hosts and the property is beautiful. We only stayed one night and wish it would have been longer!! We definitely want to come back. PS, I suggest not skipping the breakfast, it’s incredible.
