Completely renovated in 2017, it now accommodates up to 11 people in four bedrooms. The Mahoney House is located less than two miles from I-70 and one block from Main Street. This is an ideal retreat for individuals, couples, families and large groups visiting Russell.

The space

The Mahoney house, built in 1919, is a well known home in Russell, KS. A little more than 2,000 square feet, this house is thoroughly renovated and updated. You'll enjoy a new gourmet kitchen with quartz and marble countertops, a gas stove, and all the amenities & gadgets you might need. The main floor features a large, comfortable, well-appointed living room on the left, and an open kitchen and dining room on the right. In the living room, you'll find a 76" television with a cable package including local and national channels on Amazon FireStick. Dining room has a table which can seat up to 10 people when the leaf is installed. A new bathroom with shower, and a laundry room with new appliances complete the downstairs. On the upper level you'll find four comfortably appointed bedrooms. Three feature king beds that can accommodate two guests in each. The fourth bedroom is designed for kids with two bunk beds: a full-over-full and a twin-over-twin, in addition to a twin trundle bed. We also have a pack-n-play with linens for your littles.

Guest access

The Mahoney House is your house in Russell. Our guests have access to the entire home for the duration of their stay. The kitchen is fully equipped: a gas stove with convection oven, convection microwave, and dishwasher. The laundry room has a large load washer and dryer and available for your convenience.
