A historic 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a Victorian 3-unit in Portland`s Parkside neighborhood. Five minutes` walk to downtown, 15–20 minutes to the Old Port. Off-street parking spot included — a real perk in Portland.
THE APARTMENT
Two bedrooms, both with queen beds (one memory foam, one inner-spring, both with plush linens). One full bathroom. Living room with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Full kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, full-size fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. Dining for 4. In-unit washer and dryer.
Original Victorian details throughout — tin ceilings, columns, a fireplace mantle, original moldings — paired with modern updates where you`d want them. The owner`s cleaner uses only non-toxic, eco-friendly products throughout the apartment.
THE BALCONY
A private balcony off the front with a table for 4 and two lounge chairs — built for morning coffee and evening wine.
YOGA & WORK
A dedicated yoga corner with two mats, a foam roller, and two meditation cushions. The dining room doubles as workspace if you need it.
PARKSIDE & PORTLAND
Parkside is the quiet residential neighborhood on Portland`s peninsula, lined with Victorian-era homes. Within a 5-minute walk: Deering Oaks Park (Saturday farmers market in summer), Tandem Coffee, Bard Coffee, State Theatre, Maine College of Art & Design. Within a 15–20 minute walk: the Old Port (Eventide Oyster, Fore Street, dozens of restaurants), Allagash and Bissell Brothers breweries, Portland Museum of Art, the Casco Bay Lines ferry terminal (for trips to Peaks Island and Chebeague).
SHORT DRIVE
Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth (15 min). Crescent Beach and Two Lights State Park (15 min). L.L. Bean and the Freeport outlets (25 min). Pemaquid Beach for a day trip up the coast (90 min, where we have a separate property at Laughton House & Cottages).
HONEST NOTES
This is a 2nd-floor walk-up — no elevator. Front and back stairwells are shared with the other apartments in the building. We are not a pet-friendly property (ADA service animals welcome with advance notice — please reach out before booking). No smoking anywhere in the building. No parties or overnight guests beyond your registered group.

I`m Francine — I own the property and respond to inquiries personally. I`m based in South Portland, ten minutes away, and reachable by message, text, or phone if anything comes up during your stay.

- No parties, outside visitors, or overnight guests without previous approval from us
- We are not a pet-friendly property due to allergies and insurance limits. ADA service animals are welcome with advance notice — please contact us before booking to coordinate.
-- Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside, even with windows open. If you do smoke, please smoke outside on the street level
- - Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property
- - If you break or damage something, please let us know and so we can arrange for its replacement or repair
- - Follow our checkout procedure in the House Manual and postings at the apartment doors.
