Welcome to Sapphire Bay, a lakeside haven on Lake Ray Hubbard, Rowlett, TX. Enjoy outdoor pursuits like walking trails, boating, and fishing. This stunning three-story home offers a modern retreat with premier hosting spaces on the second floor, spanning from the gourmet kitchen to the great room`s balcony. Just across the bridge is the Rockwall Harbor, bustling with fun events and activities for the whole family or a casual date night. We’re in the heart of Rowlett, right on one of the largest recreational lakes in Texas. Enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, and lakeside living on Lake Ray Hubbard!

The neighborhood is conveniently located 40 minutes from both DFW Airport and Love Field Airport, and just 17 miles east of downtown Dallas, near the intersection of Interstate 30 and the President George Bush Turnpike. The 116-acre Sapphire Bay Peninsula serves as the gateway to the City of Rowlett and is surrounded by 2 miles of shoreline in the center of Lake Ray Hubbard.

We absolutely loved staying here! So much that we were looking for houses on Zillow by the end of our trip The location is still only 20 minutes from Dallas but makes you feel like you’re in another world. There are also great dining options within 5 minutes if you don’t feel like going into Dallas. I loved the vibe of the water it was SO peaceful even with three small children. I would stay here again and again! Thank you!

Family friendly, and spacious. The place was decorated beautifully, plenty of beds for large groups. The grill was definitely a hit, but being lakefront has its drawbacks, but nothing can be done being it’s just nature when you are that close to the water. Winter months this place will be amazing as well considering no bugs. Close to freeway making it easy to commute, would stay here again and again.

We had a great stay at this home. There were a few issues that we encountered, but the hosts took care of everything promptly and were very responsive. Since the home is right on the water, there were a lot of insects, so we weren’t able to enjoy the balcony and outside spaces as much. Otherwise, the home was well stocked and everything else was as advertised.
