About this property
Peaceful 2-bedroom Water View Home in Langley with Private Beach Access and Wifi
10 minutes from downtown Langley and 7 minutes from Freeland, this beach house has 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a twin, both with excellent new mattresses. With 2 bathrooms complete with bath/shower, the house is perfect for 1 to 3 people. This water view property also features amenities like WiFi, a washer/dryer, and heating. The house is well-stocked with books, board games, a 65" TV with Netflix, and Bluetooth speaker that can pair with your phone or other device. The house is brand-new and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is especially well-stocked with brand new appliances and just about every kitchen gadget imaginable, and a grill outside. But the best thing about this home is the location. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. You will see deer in the yard every morning and at dusk from the large deck. The water view is just beautiful and very calming. The private beach is a 5-minute walk from the house. Come relax and explore Whidbey Island!

About the host
Hosted by Daryle Conners

I'm a filmmaker and author, and I love to travel. I also love sharing my new home in Whidbey with other travelers and giving people a chance to experience the incredible peace and beauty of this location. Whidbey is a very special island and I still enjoy exploring, visiting farm stands, going to teh drive-in movie theater in Oak Harbor, dining out in Coupeville and Langley, and of course, spending time at the beach.
I have a deep love of music, and love the live music scene, both in Whidbey and Seattle. I'm also a cook, and the quiet of Whidbey lets me indulge in cooking for my friends. I've always wanted to make a creative retreat place for myself and others, and that's what this home in Whidbey has become. It's fine to just come and kick back, though, too. I often do that and just decompress. The island is great for that.

Why they chose this property
I love this neighborhood because it is so quiet, but also full of really interesting and often artistic neighbors. I have friends who are musicians living just around the corner, so I'd been visiting this area for years. It is close to Langley and Freeland, which makes it super convenient, but it is also blissfully quiet and of course, being on the water was the best feature of this street. I love looking out onto the water, the trees, and on clear days, the Olympic Mountains. There are also very sweet deer in the neighborhood who visit
daily. I love them. I have a wooded lot on one side and a garden on the other, so lots of privacy and quiet. I love to sit outside and watch the eagles soar overhead. It's just a place of immense beauty.

What makes this property unique
The most unique and attractive thing about my home is the water view and the location. Waking up to that unobstructed water view each morning is glorious. It is also exceptionally quiet and thus, very relaxing.
