It was a great stay. The staff was very courteous and communicative, the room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed my time at the Holiday Inn, and we’ll definitely be back.
It’s a holiday inn express. Everything was as expected! Check in/out was fast and easy. Only issues were an older bed that was not very comfortable and the elevators are very small.
Our room overall was clean, there were some scarves and items that fell in the back of the closet. When we went to reach for the ice bucket. Also, There is only 2 elevators as it gets busy and packed we had to wait 10 minutes. I think we enjoyed that it was quiet and they offered breakfast, they also had dove products for the showers! I’d come again :) since it was only a 10 minute walk from time square as well.
The staff were wonderful. Our room was older and the bathroom sink was on the smaller side. The hotel gets packed so if you don’t like crowded elevators or having to walk flights of stairs, this hotel is not for you. We didn’t have a shower curtain the first day and the safe battery lights was iffy so we couldn’t use. All in all, it was fine. The water pressure in the shower was great.

Staff very accommodating… hotel is clean by NY standards … but two small elevators for 36 floors is crazy!

The bathroom tub was not in good condition at all and the carpets were pretty dirty. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent pressure. Staff was very helpful and attentive.
We weren't in the room long and it was an overnight trip but one of the elevators were being repaired and being on the 23rd floor, it took a minute or several to be able to use one. Other than that, it was great. Located around to everything I needed.
Only one elevator worked, making us have to use the stairs. Up to 20 people, with luggage, were waiting in a cramped hallway to use the one elevator. The breakfast area was small and packed. I do not recommend this hotel and we will not stay there again!

The room was a decent size but the bathroom sink was extremely small with no countertop space. I don't mind doing hair and makeup at the desk but the room lighting was the worst I've ever had in a hotel. 2 very small reading lights by the bed and 1 small desk light; not even a lamp. The other light was the entry and NO light in the room.

The staff were very welcoming. And the location of the hotel was fine. Unfortunately elevator was not working for the three days we stayed there. so to help with the problem, they put a person inside the elevator to manually run it. The second elevator was broken. So the average wait time for an elevator was 1/2 hour. Some people were walking down from their rooms on the 31st floor because they couldn’t get the elevator to stop there. We walked down from the 12th floor. although staff was friendly in the morning breakfast area, the breakfast was subpar to any that I have had at a hotel. For the few dollars we saved staying at this hotel, we figured it would have been worth it to stay someplace else.

One of the elevators is broken and there is always a long line to use the one that works - we took the stairs. My advice is to request a room on one of the lower levels. The room was reasonably clean. The hotel management is filled with petty lairs that deny reality to your face while smiling. We were told that we had a king sized bed in our room. The bed measured about 60" wide, which is a queen. I was told by the host that it was a king bed by their standards and that all of the other king beds in the hotel were the same size. I explained that a king is 76" wide and that it is a standardized size in the United States. You shouldn't have conversations like this with adults. The host reluctantly called the "hotel engineer" to come and measure our bed. Said engineer never came to our room. We gave up the struggle for a king bed and made due on the queen - such a joke...lol.On a positive note, the free breakfast is pretty good.
This property is conveniently located to everything. We literally could walk everywhere or easily hop on the subway. Great value for the incredible location as well as the added value of breakfast every morning. Will stay here every time we come to New York City!
